The more that people are able to satisfy their topmost need, the more that a person is more likely to be happy and fulfilled (Cherry, K., n.d.). This is because of the fact that the human brain that sends impulses to the whole body would be able to satisfy the stomach after driving a person to grab a meal. However, an impulse from the brain that pushes people to be the best they can be in their careers not only because they are enjoying it but at the same time to get approval from a boss is something that goes beyond physical satisfaction as it already serves emotional and mental well-being.

Thus, when people think that they are treated as assets in a company or perhaps in their families and circle of friends, they become better – being good in social and emotional connection with others. This is because of the fact that psychology is not just about the study of the brain but an effective understanding of which involves the social and emotional factors. A Lot of the Mind is hinged from Emotions One of the misconceptions on the human mind is that it functions separately from other parts of the body such as the heart.

They believe that some people are more emotional just because they allow their hearts to rule their actions while some are indifferent because they put the logic of the mind on top of what they feel. However, seeing people with regard to this perception, I realized that emotions or the heart usually effects what the mind would think and vice versa. People who feel vulnerable because of the negative events that might have happened in their life, whether in the past or present are sad, uninterested, or are usually insecure.

This is because of the fact that our brains allow us to not only remember but also revisit certain events in our lives. These unfavorable happenings, the more a person thrives on them, would be a great motivating factor for their behavior. Take someone who just lost a loved one. The moment it dawns on them that they lost a friend or a loved one, they would start to be depressed and have unpleasant feelings because one of the needs a human should satisfy to be happy is what Abraham Maslow calls “Deficiency Needs”.

This includes esteem needs and the feeling of security (Cherry, K., n.d.). Also, the mind which is responsible for shaping the human perception governs emotions and behaviour (Psychology – The study of the Mind, n.d.). Therefore, it is really immanent in the way humans react that emotions from past events affect how the mind thinks that determines a course of action.   The Mind Works Differently From One Person to Another We surely have heard of the four temperaments used to classify the different kinds of people.

These are Sanguine or the pleasure-seeking people; choleric or the ambitious type; melancholic, one who is introvert yet thoughtful; and phlegmatic, the relaxed and quiet people. Though most people fitting the same temperament category find similarities in their personalities and how they would do things, there are cases in which we can find extreme contrary on how a person reacts to the temperament’s description. An example of which would be the numerous friends that I have, who though falls under the Sanguine category, enjoying the same leisurely activities such as getting together with friends and enjoy a trip, good food, or perhaps a drink, one would react differently to certain situations.

When it comes to relationships
