Research on cognitive appraisals, coping, and social support has provided a deep understanding of the way people view and manage the feelings of stress. Researches show that this ability of an individual to cope with psychological state of stress is related closely with the field of clinical psychology whose area of treatment covers a wide range of abnormal behaviors and psychiatric issues. In this paper, the researcher will use mixed method approach to find out the effects of clinical psychology based treatments on people in stress.

Purpose Statement The purpose of the proposed mixed method research is to find out the effects of different clinical psychology treatments on psychological and physical health states of people facing stress and anxiety problems. Research Questions The research questions are as follows: 1. How clinical psychology approaches can cope with the issues of mental illness stress and? 2. What are the key indications of stress in people who want to go for clinical psychology treatments? 3. What is the effect of eclectic treatment on people facing stress problem? . To verify the viability of the hypotheses, the researcher will see whether people who go for clinical psychology treatments overcome the problems of stress and mental illness successfully or not.

Appropriateness of the Research Design The researcher has selected mixed method design to conduct this research. The reason si that this design helps in situations when one needs to increase the validity of research findings by examining the relationships in different ways. Moreover, it also results in greater understanding of research findings and the researcher can come up with a proper conclusion regarding the research. The researcher has not chosen qualitative or quantitative research methods because qualitative research often leads to procedural issues and problems and is very expensive to conduct.

On the other hand, quantitative research generalizes the results and does not help the research come up with some detailed conclusions. Primary Design For this mixed method research, qualitative research will be used as the primary design because it will help the research come up with detailed conclusion about the effectiveness of clinical psychology treatments. Approach to be used The researcher will use survey technique because it will help in knowing exact responses of a large number of people.

The researcher will use this technique along with snowball sampling to access the target population easily.
