Findings from the research supported the hypothesis as there was evidence of a positive association between the two variables.

However, the study was limited to publication biases as only published articles in peer-reviewed journals were sampled. There was a high possibility of unpublished journals relevant to the study that was unpublished within the mentioned sampled period. There also existed diverse ways through which father involvement was defined. As a result, it would be necessary that clear measures are created to synthesize the level of involvement in fathers, the measures to be used, as well as the implications to the lives of children.
