Extract of sample "James Milners Passion as a Chef"

James Milner is a forty-five-year-old chief chef in his restaurant called Rozmin. His passion as a chef grew due to his closeness with his mother since he was the only child of a single mother. He often spent time with his mom during meal preparation and enjoyed tasting before the meal is served. As a chief chef, his primary role is to ensure that the food prepared for the customers is of good quality. Apart from supervising the ingredients used in meal preparation, he also ensures to check all the served meals before they are taken to the customers. At the beginning of the business, he used to taste the food since the customers were still few. But today, he cannot taste all the meals served due to the varieties prepared to the vast number of customers he has so he just takes a look. He, therefore, uses the sensitivity of his nose and eyes to determine what is good for his customers. His eyes and nose have never failed him since no customer has ever complained of Rozmin's meals. His accurate judgment has been developed over forty years of constant preparation and interaction with a variety of meals. He has learned from watching his mother cook and judging his dishes over time. His mother describes him as a person with great visual attention. Experience has enabled him to connect the appearance of a dish and its taste. For the best time of his life, he kept encoding and storing the relevant information about cooking. Today, as he enjoys his culinary career, he has been able to retrieve the information and use it (Grison, Heatherton & Gazzaniga, 2015).
Milner has proven that memory can be stored over an unlimited number of years. He has been using repeating his cooking practices to improve his perfection while at the same time encoding the process more deeply for further application. As a religious person, he has been giving all the praise to his God since he has never suffered any mental problems. He knows very well that a condition like amnesia would affect his career significantly, hence, sees God as the source of his success. But his memory is not that perfect, he at times finds it difficult to link his customers by their taste of meals. He has, therefore, been forced to develop a record of customers against their taste and preference. He employs the analogical and symbolic representations which are usually used in the recording to ensure ease of understanding the customer needs. Since he is a busy individual, he prefers images and bold-colored writings to hasten his services (Grison, Heatherton & Gazzaniga, 2015).
Today, James Milner is considered one of the most successful people in his town. His mother considers him one of the most intelligent people. Nature and nurture have enabled him to progress substantially as a culinary specialist. His career can be attributed to his constant interaction with his mother even though life experience has played a role too (Grison, Heatherton & Gazzaniga, 2015).
