Introduction

Thus, the world of today is beset with a lot of problems affecting people in various geographical regions as well as cutting across demographic profiles. That is, people or families or individuals belonging to all religions, including Christianity, are being negatively impacted by problems like Martial discord, domestic violence, Alcoholism, Substance abuse, Sexual assaults, varied Mental disorders, suicides, etc, etc. These physical cum mental problems are forcing the humans to find solutions as well as solace. Apart from finding and following scientific and medical options, struggling people are also seeking spiritual care. That is, people are approaching the places of religious importance particularly churches to find solutions to their personal problems. This is where the role of Christian Counseling or Christian counselors assumes importance.
