Betty is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Betty was a Chaplain working with the Hospice. Her life was dedicated to her family and community outreach. Betty started three non-profit organizations. Her first organization is Operation Search which donates 10 million dollars of food to the poor. Her next non-profit is Second Chance which gives theatrical presentations to grade and high school students on issues affecting their lives. Star was her last non-profit which is an organization that sets up support groups within high schools concerning alcohol and drug abuse.

Betty received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Lincoln University and became a Chaplain in 2012. A memorial service will be held at Windsor Crossings at a date to be announced. B. Eulogy The eulogy should be read by either my son or daughter. About the life of my Mom, there is one thing you can say, and that is she didn’t stop living for the Lord. As she always told us, the biggest regret was that she did not understand the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior until after she was 50 years of age.

Her determination in life was to be the most loving mother and grandmother. The joy of her life besides her children was her grandchildren. Every moment she spent with them was one of the most precious and joyous times in her life. She loved them so much. Now that she is gone her legacy consists of loving her family, trying hard to give to the community and loving the Lord with all she had. She prayed every day for people she ran into that they would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Mom never wanted us to be sad when she passed away because she was going to her final Home which she knew would be the most wonderful part of her journey.

Organ Donation In 2008, both my husband and I made arrangements with the Washington University School of Medicine to donate our bodies to the research department. We knew this is what our Lord wanted us to do. We had to fill out a form and have it signed in the presence of two witnesses and signed by the witnesses as well. Frank’s body was a gold mine for them because his disease affected only 1% of the Nation. They could only guarantee the eyes would be the only organ that would not be donated. They use all other organs for research. D. Funeral Arrangements I would like to have a Memorial Service since my body will have been donated to Washington University School of Medicine.

They also take care of remains through cremation and have a special place reserved for these remains. This part was not important to our family since we know the body is just a shell used to host our soul.
