SymbolsThe presence of the star at the entrance of the mosque signifies peace as per the explanation of the imam who guides visitors to the place of worship (Endress 151). Aside from the crescent moon symbolizing idealism, the green color on the walls of the sanctuary signifies harmony with nature. The white and black banners served as a reminder to the origin of the religion. Rituals Muslims have maintained some of the practices of the religion such as consuming halal foods and having separate seating arrangement for women inside the mosque.

There is the dominance of veils dominance in places of worship, and members of the faith also visit pilgrims as a sign of unity. Members are bound by Quran laws in their relationship with the rest in society.Pre-modern, modern, postmodern aspects of the worship serviceThe pre-modern aspects of religion incorporated some aspects of technology in preaching, but the shift is slow. The laxity is attributed to the leadership’s resistance to the adoption of kafir practices. Another change in modern times is the recognition of women in the faith.

Muslims still worship five times since the practices form a fundamental aspect of the practice. They are also incorporating democratic practices in the religion, members of the faith will heed the teachings of the religion in all aspects of their lives from architecture to establishing partnerships in communities. Furthermore, the Sunni and the Shite will still grapple in seeking to influence the belief of the faithful in many years to come.

The faithful will equally heed to the teachings of the prophet.
