Why God Allowed Sin into the WorldIntroduction In the history of most churches, one of the greatest issues of debate concerns the aspect of sin. Different people have different understandings of sin, the origin, how sin spread into the world, and how the final destruction. Ideally, such aspects are least understood among many church followers. Out of the many debates pertaining to sin, one that has elicited significant debate is the question of why God allowed sin into the world. Based on such an aspect, this paper discusses the two major reasons why God allowed sin in the world.

Many definitions are in use in establishing the real meaning of sin. Among the many definitions, many individuals commonly use two. Sin is the violation of an ideal relationship that exists between God and an individual or sin also involves from the ideal order of human beings (Stern, 1988). Indeed, the two definitions provide a good foundation for understanding of sin and the various aspects pertaining to it. On such an understanding on what sin is, determining the major reasons contributing to why God allowed sin into the world remains a significantly easy task.

Many question the reason why God permits sin to reign in the world, which causes great suffering among many individuals, despite His all-powerful nature (Stern, 1988). Sin originated from the Garden of Eden after the disobedience of Adam and Eve, after doing contrary to the will of God. Such an understanding brings about two major reasons as to why God allowed sin into the world. 1. God allowed sin into the world in order to manifest his true nature and other valuable lessons.2. God allows sin into the world as a prove that indeed sin and its evil nature are malignant, and that the suffering attributed to sin, proofs that any contrast to God’s will results in suffering, pain, and finally leads to death.

God's nature manifests best in human beings through suffering, considering that during sufferings, many individuals tend to tighten their relationship with God. Man despite having rebelled against God through sin in the Garden of Eden was not left alone, instead God sent His begotten son, Jesus, Christ to come and die for the fallen man, so that even though man had sinned, through Jesus he would be saved. Such an aspect reveals the true nature of God as loving, caring, and forgiving (Stern, 1988).

In such a way, God gives man the free will and choice so that on the judgment day, no one will have the right of saying that their judgments are unjust, as whoever recognizes the sins and turns back to God will be saved, while whoever remains in sin faces the everlasting death. God also uses sin to reveal that going contrary to his will results in suffering, pain, and finally death. Such an aspect reveals significantly that despite the human nature, humans need to remain obedient to God and do according to his will as any contrast to such, results in great suffering and death (Stern, 1988).

Conclusion God is an all-powerful God with the ability of clearing sin in a flash, however, from the disobedient nature of humans, allows sin to manifest in the world as a way of enabling humans realize their mistakes and turn to God through his son Jesus Christ. The world has changed from the manner in which God created it as a contribution of sin and, therefore, despite all being vulnerable to sin, God’s loving and forgiving nature gives man a second chance of salvation.ReferencesStern, V.
