Introduction

Level of Faith and Work Integration My current level of faith and work integration is quite impressive. I have been able to incorporate most themes and values that are highlighted in the texts. It is now possible to follow most of the rules and laws of God that are highlighted by Maxwell (2007). With regards to good stewardship, I now tend to be more of a leader and role model than in the past. I also try as much as it is possible to serve others and not to be served. I consider this because it is also a way of communicating God’s message to different people. Thus, the two areas seem to be integrated in the sense that ethics, religion and the law governing secular actions are related. They also emphasize on various similar issues (Maxwell, 2007). As such, the connection tends to bring about a superficial connection that exhibits the “oneness” between the two lives. However, they appear to be in conflict or distinct based on different workplace cultures. This is as a result of the set rules that may be against some of the Christian practices such as evangelism. ...

The christian faith
Schleiermacher asserts that the Church is nothing rather than a spiritual union in association to piety. It is not a knowing and not even a doing; rather, it is an alteration of feeling, or of instantaneous self-consciousness. In this case, feeling is employed in a scientific manner in order to portray a clear mental state within self-consciousness without including…
Reason, Faith and Logos
Introduction Foundational to spiritual and philosophical investigations are the notions of reason and faith. Adherents to faith argue that true recognition of god or the divine cannot be grasped through the implementation of modern notions of reason. These views are contrasted with the perspective of humanist philosophers who advance notions of reason and science as necessary foundations of…
Faith
Wills (2006) points out that faith meant something different then from what it means today. Ehrman (2005) is concerned with the separation of Christians and Jews on the grounds of faith as salvation and more important than law. Ludemann (2002) attempts to achieve a synthesis with Christ as the common meeting ground for the two religions. Grant (1976) notes that Paul’s labours were devoted to the…
Faith and Diplomacy
Former U.S. Secretary of State (1997 to 2001),Madeleine Albright has recently published an article “Faith and Diplomacy,” in which she argues that religion should have some role in foreign policy, even though she does not inform her readers of what that faith inflected diplomacy would look like. This paper analyses the role religion should play in diplomacy based on the arguments put forward…
Faith and/in Reason
To many, it appears that the choice between faith and reason is either/or, one or the other, and so we see Evangelical Christians dismissing climate science, evolution, and more in order to maintain their faith, while a growing Atheist/Agnostic movement embraces science and claims the mantle of “reality-based” thinking. But it does not have to be this way. If we were to conceptualize faith and…
Counseling in Faith
Pastoral service entails self actualization as it is a profession that gives a person the responsibility to act as a moral object to the society (Niklas 29). This aspect portrays one of the major roles of pastoral care apart from providing service to other people. Pastoral care also entails instilling a moral responsibility to through acting as a role model to the society. Many pastors, catechists…
Faith and Knowledge
Deduction, induction, and abduction in relation to reason in the works of Charles Sanders Peirce are also valid in relation to faith. Gdel's Incompleteness Theorems and Ontological Proof of the Existence of God are also valid when it comes to understand the limitations and shortcomings of both reason and faith. At the end of the road we find the unconditional love of God, and this knowledge…
