What this meant was that I was allowed to skip classes at will and even be absent from different courses on and off without any inquiries. I could easily make up a disciplinary case against a student and thus skip classes as the usual story that could be hatched by any student in opposition of classes is that they are boring and lack the fun that a head girl might have if she is taking the rounds of the school and thus showing her mettle to one and all. The school authorities knew well that I was a strict disciplinarian and I possessed some extraordinary skills which made me into a tough girl. I was honest with what I did and students as well as teachers around me told the same to me time and again. Since I am a motivated person, I derive it from within. My passion reigns supreme over anything else and hence the rational that I declined the offer given to me. The reason provided was that I would like to concentrate on my studies more and not skip classes for the sake of doing something that I considered wrong in practice and thinking. I felt proud when the principal personally asked me to take up the role of the head girl but I told the principal what my insecurities were. The principal was compassionate and understood my position well. Seeing my sincerity towards studies, the teachers and the management publicly appreciated my honesty and straight forward nature. They told the students my strengths and I believe this was one moment which would be cherished for the rest of my life. I feel proud to this day when I was hailed as the unofficial head girl in dignity and respect by the teachers, management and the principal. Everyone applauded my devotion towards the cause of the school and this goes down as one of my best moments in life undoubtedly. This experience of being a renowned figure within the school domains made me into a humble person.
