 Prohibition of Cigarettes Manufacturing Introduction The slogan ‘Smoking is injurious to health’ is printed on every cigarette packets and the responsibility of the authorities or the government seems to be over by that. They are happy with warning the public against their smoking habits because of the health problems associated with it. Even these warning messages will be displayed at some corners of the ads with letters as small as possible to avoid the public attention. Smoking advertisements always give more emphasize to their promotional activities rather than the statutory requirements. Tobacco manufacturers don’t want to spread the slogan against their interests.
