This paper highlights that the actions carried out include patting, touching the other person in sensitive areas like buttocks or breast area. The behaviors can also include the use of unwelcomed bodily contacts to the other party. Verbal behaviors can also be termed to be sexual harassment to some extent. The use of comments to the other person on their clothing, body or looks cold easily make the uncomfortable and this might not go down well with them. The use of offensive jokes especially if they are sexually oriented can also be included in this category of behaviors.From this study it is clear that non-verbal behaviors can easily be confused with those of physical behaviors, non-verbal behaviors do not necessarily have to involve physical action. This category involves behaviors such as repeatedly glancing and staring at a person in a manner that makes him or her feel uncomfortable or even the use of obscene gestures towards other people. It might also involve the display of sexually suggestive photos and pictures that can humiliate or embarrass the other person. There are several ways that can be used I the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace. Some prevention techniques might involve the use of legal actions in the court of law while others might involve the use of disciplinary measures that have been set by the organization. The following are some of the ways that can be used in the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace.

The name was often used as a pet name. The other employees in our department then picked up the same and the employee the name was the order of the day. The employee has now brought a claim for sexual harassment under the title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; This paper seeks to look at sexual harassment in the workplace under the above title, and the provisions that cover offensive language that amounts to sexual harassment in workplaces.
It has been found from the past records that the issue of sexual harassment had been in existence since long but lacked a proper definition. The thoughts that headed for sexual harassments in the traditional period were assumed to be different. The root of this kind of a disturbing behavior can be traced to the change of outlook which occurred owing to the attainment of increased parity of women in their respective workplaces.
The paper also analyses the question of whether women are the main victims of harassment as well as whether sexual harassment is a global issue. The final part of the paper will look into examples of women rights at the work place and ways to eliminate sexual harassment at the work place.
Most victims can clearly describe how serious and what a serious problem. Sexual harassment is especially a problem in cases in which jobs are scarce and when one has few skills. Sexual harassment could occur between people of the same sex or the opposite sex.

According to the paper not only can poor operating standards expose employees to such hazards, but the sexual harassment creates discomfort in association with bullying employers, supervisors, and co workers, which may end up lowering the self esteem, sense of security, and the general job performance of an employee due to emotional stress. Due to these associated effects and need to uphold morality in workplace, the governments, labor industries, and business units have made efforts to prevent work place sexual harassment through the established laws, legislatures, and code of ethics.
Sexual harassment is on the rise at work places. Sexual harassment has been defined as sexual advances without consent, sexual favor requests, physical or verbal conduct which is sexual in nature and inclined to creating offensive or hostile working environment (Swisher, 1994).
Any form of behavior that is not in line with the policies of the organization or that disturbs the atmosphere at the workplace causing obstacles in the course of work may be treated as inappropriate behavior. The case of Marwan’s behavior with the female junior actor may be treated as an inappropriate behavior as it falls under the purview of sexual harassment.
