In this country, same sex marriages have been legalized and the research concludes that despite of this, the same sex marriages only last for one half years there on an average. They also present a study in Netherlands which shows that the same sex couples have multiple partners which range up to 8 partners annually. Not only this, same sex marriages present with more cases of violence that in heterosexual marriages. Thus it explains that gays should not be allowed to marry as these relationships do not have any definitive future and success (Dailey).
“There can be a conflict between religious liberty and sexual liberty, but in almost all cases, the sexual liberty should win because that’s the only way that the dignity of gay people can be affirmed in any realistic manner.” This is the statement of Chai Feldblum who was the attorney of the American Civil Liberties Union. His stand indicates the fact that a person has a right to choose for his liberty and what he wishes to do in his sexual life.
