Goals and Commitment How can I manage my time better & lower my stress level with the many activities I do?  When stressed up, you are likely to feel tired and lose focus on the various activities you may be required to perform. You can manage your time better by making prior planning for your activities and fixing deadlines that you should meet. The deadliness should be realistic and you must discipline yourself to ensure you meet the deadlines. Moreover, you can ensure you perform demanding tasks when less tired.2. What are "SMARTER" Goals?

 Provide 2 examples how "smarter goals" helped you with college commitmentsSMARTER stands for goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time bound, Evaluate, and Re-Do (Williams, 2010). In college, SMARTER goals helped me in different ways. I would plan my studies by highlighting different topics covered in class and setting time bound deadlines within which I would revise the work. This enabled me to finish revising all the courses in good time. Another way was that I set to improve my grades after every exam.

I was supposed to add at least five points per subject. The goal was measurable and I managed to evaluate my progress and improve on my academics.3. Does writing it out really help me be more committed to the task at hand? Writing out help you to be committed to a task since you can always evaluate if you are working towards completing the task. Moreover, you are able to identify areas you could be having problems and seek for help.4. My signature means what about my commitment? In order to achieve a goal, it is important to be committed.
