The Hippocratic Oath of the manager Central learning outcomes in the Hippocratic Oath of the Manager This paper is a summary of the various learning outcomes derived from the book The Hippocratic of the manger. They paper goes ahead to analyze them in brief and made clear to the audience of the major themes of the text. The major learning outcomes realized from The Hippocratic Oath of the Manager has revealed that students who invest up to $ 100,000 do rebrand themselves as virtuous. They have done this with an intention of getting rich but in real sense, there effort cannot go beyond the walls of the university.

Secondly, a set of values shared is a defining feature in any given profession. For instance, doctors and lawyers do have diversified codes that suit their fields, but a professor from a business school tends to embrace the claim by Milton Friedman that maximization of profits is the major responsibility or intention of any business. The third outcome of learning is the revelation that there are clear-cut differences between medicine and practicing management. They argue that there is no professional body that is self-regulating and has the chance to monopolize anyone’s entry into the profession.

The verbatim phrase from the book is as below stated; “Professions are also characterized as ‘practices’– for example, a doctor practices medicine and a lawyerpractices law”. More so, it has revealed that it is not necessary for leaders or individuals to have an MBA to be successful leaders in the society. A good example is Bill Gates who has several doodles without any formal training in the same field or related field. The sentence from the book in verbatim is: “The value of the MBA is that one has successfully completed the rigorous and formal process of learning the critical and analytical thinking required of manager”.
