Apart from this, an identification of two particular areas wherein improvements or changed need to be made and the rationale for making the same will also be described in the assignment in an elaborate manner. A Detailed Description about the Work As a support worker in the context of health and social care, my prime responsibility is to determine about how the standard of care and support is maintained. Moreover, apart from conducting the above stated activity, I focused on how to enhance my communication skills, as there lays the requirement of communicating with the people of the community in order to make them learn about varied complex needs within a particular community. My job profile, as a support worker specifically in health and social care segment, also includes supporting the people towards solving their respective diverse learning difficulties. It will be vital to mention that serving the people living in a community who are severely ill and in the condition of dying, is also one of my job roles as a support worker in the respective segment. These job roles are usually performed by making dynamic team efforts with the incorporation of individual professional skills (Prime Care, 2010). Apart from my work as a support worker in health and social care segment, I also perform the job roles of a fashion stylist. In this regard, as a fashion stylist, I had to communicate with the clients in order to make them aware about the new fashion trends. Specially mentioning, as a leader, I need to supervise the performance of my team mates and encourage their team spirit in order to gain professional excellence by highly satisfying the clients with better execution of my professional skills (Gradireland, 2012). Furthermore, in relation to the work of a fashion stylist, I often had to perform the job role of an image consultant, which requires greater development in professional skills while advising the clients to make them aware about the dresses that would best suit them. Thus, in order to perform the above stated job roles, there lays the requirement of developing excellent communication skills in order to become an effective fashion stylist consultant. Specially mentioning my job profile as a fashion stylist demands as the role of a team leader for supervising my subordinates to delivering quality services to the client. This also requires the generation of a team game within the operational process and hence, to gain the desired targets (Jones, 2005). A Detailed Analysis of the Two Improvement/Change Areas with Reasons There exist numerous areas that require to be made serious development in order to gain professional excellence. It can be apparently observed from the above stated works or job profiles that effective communication is an indispensable element, which requires to be improved by a considerable extent. Thus, it is quite clear that communication is one of the ears, which I would like to get improved or make necessary changes in enhancing the same. In this regard, communication skill can be developed by following certain effective measures. One of such measures is the ability to listen the words of the clients and also the team mates as well as subordinates. Also, there lays the requirement of developing the significant concern i.e. body language. It will be vital to mention that proper body language implies more effective communication amid two individuals. Moreover, it is advisable not to talk over the people. This might lead towards the loss of clientele and also breakage of team bonding. Most importantly, feedbacks must be obtained from the clients and also the subordinates about the services provided to them. This might lead towards reduction of any sort of confusion amid the clients and also within the subordinates. Effective communication is much essential for maintaining work efficiency. As my job profile demands highly interactive with the clients, whether supporting people with learning difficulties or styling people, effective communication is desirable (Melkote & Steeves, 2001). Besides, making significant improvements or necessary changes in communication area for raising my work effectiveness, there also exists another important area, which needs to be taken into concern. This area can be determined as the development in team work. In this regard, team bonding amid the team members while performing the job roles as support worker in health and social care segment is quite essential for delivering quality services to the end customers. This is equally important to my work as an image consultant along with a fashion stylist. In this regard, the development of team cohesion can be gained by understanding the common objective of all the members of the team. This would certainly lead towards motivation amid the team members and simultaneously would improve the notion of group cohesion. Also, there lays the requirement of sharing and considering the views of each individual so that each member becomes highly motivated and contributes significantly towards the attainment of several significant benefits. It is projected that the aspect of team bonding or teamwork amid the team members would certainly lead towards greater self development of each member and also simultaneously develops my work efficiency at large. Thus, team cohesion seems to be quite important, when the job profile demands for working as a team. As a support worker in health or social care or as a fashion stylist or as a part time image consultant, there lays the requirement of maintaining highly effective team cohesion in order to deliver effective services to the end users (Patchell, 2007). Conclusion From the above analysis and discussion, a detailed picture about my job roles as a support worker in health as well as social care segment, fashion stylist and image consultant can be ascertained. It can be apparently observed that in order to conduct the aforesaid works, there lays the necessity of improving certain important areas that entail communication and teamwork among others. It will be vital to mention that greater improvement in the above discussed areas will certainly aid in delivering quality along with effective services to the people residing within varied communities at large.
