Intellectual Property: What things do you need to find out from Larry? What things do you need to find out from Larry? Protectionof ones property is an important aspect in todays competitive and diverse world. It is also important, to safeguard ones work or original idea from being copied by another organization. The first question is whether he had Patented "Playing with Larry Podder" game. A patent is a right solely granted by the State to the owner or initiator of a product. A patent will protect the game from Harry Potters claims.

(Datta, Pradip Kumar, Sanjay Palshikar, and Achin Vanaik, 2013.) I also need to know if Larry had read Harry Potters Patent. That is because if we had trespassed their territory with or without knowledge, then we are bound to suffer the consequences as we are bound to lose the case to Harry as was the case with Nintendo Versus Philips. (Pitcher, J., 2014) The third question is whether he had registered the game as his intellectual property and whether the State had granted him permission to use the property as his own.

We have already put it in the public domain, and it is important to know if the government recognizes the game was our work. The fourth question is why he decided to use a character that resembles Tammy Faye? Was he trying to imitate Harry Potters work? Why? We will only win the lawsuit if we had not violated any of Harry Potters rights and if we had registered and legally protected the games as our own. In conclusion, It is important to protect ones work as your own ones you have designed something.

It is also equally important to research first and be sure no one else has sought protection over similar work.ReferencesDatta, Pradip Kumar, Sanjay Palshikar, and Achin Vanaik. Political Science.
