Pre-school family activities have a proven effect on the level of child development, despite of the fact the evidence of it is easy to notice or not. According to a research of the American Association of Pediatrics, family development activities is a very important factor in development of a child's brain as well as they encourage emotional connection between parents and a child. The American Association of Pediatrics suggests parents practicing development activities with children on daily basis despite of their age.

At the same time the AAP provides data that many parents do not pay enough attention to child development causing further problems in school with socialization as well as with cognitive process. (http://www.aap.org/bookstorepubs.html) The family and the school provide necessary development of language abilities, the widest form of communication. Books is one of the ways how children are introduced in language and cognitive development process in a family and then at school. While the family involves a child to books reading at an early age ensuring more desire to enlarge word and phonics bank, school provides extend a child's knowledge through books reading which impacts cognitive abilities and speaking skills of a child.

Most studies shows that child development is in a very close dependence of mothers, who are usually the main mentor for a child at an early age. Here we can make parallels with school, as the researches also indicates that both pre-school and school development is closely linked with a level of education, which tutoring person possesses. The higher level of mother's and teacher's education the more intensive level of child development will be achieved. The effect of pre-school and school activities has cyclical nature, though it develops in a progressive way.

(Child Care and Early Learning, 24) The more information a child comprehends, the higher level of social, language, moral and cognitive development it gains. A child processes information, and each piece of it opens new horizons of it. And a job of horizon opening is a mutual task of family and school. Child development activities are important for physical development either. Let's get back to our example with reading. When a child turns pages of a, doesn't matter at home or at school, it helps motor skills, it affects eyes muscles and impacts the whole body, engaging brain.

As well as it affects senses of touch. One of the most important sides of child development is social development. The family starts to influence a child at the earliest ages, the most formative years in sense of building social portrait of a child. A child permanently communicates to its family, and this process forms learning stimuli and learning basis. Parents are the persons who form anticipation of education in a child's mind. Parents appears to be first mentors of a child, they ensure comprehension of education fundamentals from a child's side and explain how to build the process of learning.

Socialization of a child is a factor of social development, which needs special attention from the family and school. The family provides only trend of socialization process, while the process itself takes place in a community, the school is usually such community for a child.
