The definition of crime was greatly expanded by the modern day criminologists. According to their point of view crime is a combination of surviving sense and environmental force. But at the same note they also point out that there is a certain nature of equal approach towards crime devoid of all instincts and environment.


At the same time a sameness of the judicial process would enable the population to achieve justice with greater efficiency and at a faster pace. Police comes into the situation at this point as a tool of maintaining and enforcing the judicial system. Thus the focal point of the research is to evaluate the topic of Public perception on police officers and the use of force and back the findings with relevant statistical data and research procedures. However, it should be taken into account that The traditonal hierarchical leadership style is not the only option for policing, change to transformational leadership style is possible and this study would look into this aspect.
