To implement this project well, Hope University has formed staffs in charge for this responsibility; they are Mellisa Commissiong – Founder, Jovita Collins – Co-Founder, Miguel De Los Angeles – Chief Financial Officer and Jeff Francois – Chief Financial Officer Assistant. The team has extensive criminal justice background and will be the right people to assist these young men at Sing Sing in creating better lives. 1.Implementation In order to apply maximum educational services, as also our business mission statement is to prevent recidivism of the inmates in New York State, Hope University has prepared strategic planning to achieve the goals.

As it has been mentioned that Sing Sing Correctional Facility will be the first one to work with, below are the details of the educational services implementation. 1.1.Observation at Sing Sing Correctional Facility. Anayzing and getting to know more about the facility, will be the starting point. This is important because Hope University needs to know what is actually needed. The implementation that will be taken is interviewing the inmates who have not got any educational backgrounds at all.

Our staffs will surely convince them the importance to get into the society and have better life after being imprisoned. It is targeted that 1.700 inmates there will equally get good education. 1.2.Education Plan for Inmates at Sing Sing Correctional Facility. Hope University will cope on four main aspects as the education purposes. Those aspects are education to get equivalency in Degree/certifications/college Degree, job/employment preparation programs, personal guidance for inmates and recidivism prevention program. 1.3.

Assigning the Educators and Arranging Schedules. Hope University is ready on its staffing, which means experienced professors are ready to educate the inmates. Even though Sing Sing has 1.700 inmates, it is still needed to make maximum and effective educational services. Hope University has decided to assign 50 educators that will handle 50 classes that consist of 34 inmates as students. Our mission is to decrease prison sizes and crime and in turn increase productivity; so, small class is a preference in order to make educator gets closed to each inmate in one class.

In this case, the educator will have bigger opportunity to know each of them; he will be able to analyze the talent and also be personal consultant. Those educators will be 100% responsible to a single class; it means that each of those will handle the formal education subjects, the job/employment preparation programs (such as mock interviews lesson, public speaking and resume writing classes), personal guidance (as like personal consultation), and recidivism prevention program (building their awareness).

It is hoped that this method will work to support the inmates as maximum as possible. The classes will be held from Monday to Friday for 6-hour-studying time. Hope University will cooperate further with Sing Sing to arrange appropriate studying time due to other activities that the inmates have at the correctional facility. 1.4.Providing the Equipments to Study.
