I like autumn because it’s not too extreme.  At the same time, there is an extreme twang and chill to the air.  When I say that it’s not too extreme, I mean that it’s not too hot or too cold.  Instead, it’s cool. My courses are going fine.  I feel good about my progress.  I need to participate more in class and get my speaking and writing styles to match more exactly.  I think I also need to manage my time better.  My personal goals have always centred around being able to help others as well as for myself in all that I do.

  I feel that in my life, I am forever in the debt of those friends, family members, and teachers who have helped me, and this motivates me to also seek a field of work in which I can help people organize positively while providing them with the care and services that they need.  I am motivated to lead individuals in an atmosphere in which their decisions are respected as part of a collective thinking process that leads to success and expansion.  I feel that I need to be more outspoken.

     If I could do anything and still get by, I would be a diver.  I like the water.  I grew up swimming a lot.  I would dive for fish and crustaceans.  I suppose I could dive and catch fish as a hobby. I wonder what people thought about a long time ago.  In ancient Greece, did people think about the same things?  Did they have the same basic concerns?  We apply so much of their philosophy to our society, but are they totally different?  I think they might be.

  I would like to travel 1—for a 3 day weekend to the Caribbean 2—for a 2-week vacation to Laos and 3—for a 3-month vacation in France.  My favourite book is “The Catcher in the Rye” by Salinger.  I don’t read magazines or newspapers.  I read a few weblogs on the internet.  I could read more newspapers, besides the free ones on the train.    I liked how the course seemed to respect my intelligence.  I didn't feel patronized or talked down at.

  I think my writing and attitude are more positive, as a result.  I learned a lot about myself, such as that I need to work on my writing skills.  I think that the course is good; no improvements are needed.  I would take the course again if I had the chance.
