Extract of sample "Criminal Processes and the Courtroom"

Courtroom Criminal processes are highly organized and are therefore undertaken in stages. The underlying principle is to promote justice and fairness in the society. The assigned pages have presented an interesting scenario of how issues to do with criminal justice are dealt with. There are laws and constitutional provisions to be observed, but judges have decisions to make based on those laws and provisions. The assigned chapters present an intensive insight into case proceedings and sentencing, matters of jury selection and innocence and guiltiness in criminal justice issues (Bogira 232-343).

The highlighted courtroom’s criminal cases in the assigned pages are informational to consumers of criminal justice information. To start with, there is more into criminal justice processes and systems than individual users of these systems actually know. Chapters 14 to 19 show that a criminal justice process is broad in scope and flexible in interpretation than it is thought to be. In this regard, pursuits into criminal justice are not necessarily fully restricted to specific practices of jury decisions.

In other words, a criminal justice issue encompasses critical evaluation, analysis and assessment of factors that affect the matter at hand (Bach 220). Therefore, it is important that any given consumer of criminal justice information understands pre and post impacts of dealing with a criminal justice issue. Addressing a criminal justice issue is a process that should be fully backed by evidence. It is therefore a matter of what can be proved and not necessarily what the parties bound to the issue know (Kathy & Arnold 64).

This requires that the issue at hand be dealt with diligently, with accountability and transparency in order to promote fairness and justice. Users of criminal justice information have been made to understand that the jury at times finds itself fixed in a dilemma, when alternative solutions to a criminal justice issue are conflicting. This and all the information provided by the assigned pages have provided a whole new and advanced perspective into the criminal justice processes. Works Cited Bach, Amy.
