The murder of Lil Miss From my analysis of the murder of Lil Miss, I can conclusively support a few deductions made earlier by other law analysts and the American citizens. The first deduction is that there are many obstacles to the legal justice system such as jurisdictions and bureaucracy. These obstacles have an immense effect on judicial service provision. These effects include the system having a tendency to drag slowly and not in sync with the urgency of individuals seeking justice. It took fifteen years to get a trace on an inmate suspected of having killed Lil miss through a DNA match.

This causes individuals to lack confidence in the judicial system and extent the body that governs its, The Government. People begin a journey to seek justice for wrongs committed against them and their loved ones, but if they are not as strong as the Kimmel Family, they may become exhausted. This country’s justice system gives one the feeling of betrayal (Kimmell & Carpenter 16).Another deduction I made was that homicide cases are increasing at an alarming rate. However, the rate at which they become solved does not compliment the rate at which they become commuted.

What becomes more shocking is that this trend has spread through out all the 48 states of America. Surprisingly, America is among the most advanced when it comes to criminal investigation. The technology used to investigate crime is top notch even the education the detectives receive has changed considerably, and for the better. One may ask themselves whether the criminals are getting smatter or does the bureaucratic nature of the judicial system unconsciously favor their thrive (Kimmell & Carpenter 23).

It would be unfair not to mention that there have been breakthroughs relating to the challenges the seemingly “more intelligent” and evasive criminals pose. I am of the view that it is only a matter of time, and the justice system becomes trusted and turned to by all. Take for instance the Kimmell family, all they had was faith that justice will prevail over impunity and a decade and a half later their faith become rewarded. Patience is a virtue few people tolerate. To work for the criminal justice system one either gets patient or gets started even on a small scale level on the relevant reforms to better the system.

Most victims of crime start feeling isolated after a prolonged quest for justice. The victims of the criminal offences feel rejected. These feelings so expressed might not be flittering to integrity of the justice system, but the victimization of these individuals cannot be denied. Working in the criminal justice system, one can only start from an individual level and interact with the victims. The purpose will be to look at them as rational beings, capable of feelings and thoughts that are not necessarily litigated by their situation alone (Kimmell & Carpenter 33).
