As the discussion highlights the Africans were ferried to America as laborers to the Americana farms. After the first shipment, the number of slaves being shipped to the US increased. The slave era led to the foundation of plantation colonies system. Tradition took a part in keeping people to slavery, since nearly all persons are not willing to stray from their tradition always. Tradition refers to the way of life of a faction of populace. The slaves were motivated to work by being promised to get liberty by their masters. This was a trick and tactic used to hoax the slaves to work; since, they were afraid that the slaves would feel the need to have their own freedom and resent work. Tradition is related to the case study ‘There is no such thing as rest’, since the slaves hardly afforded time to rest. According to the traditions the slave possessors were allowed to use all the available methods in order to put slaves to labor. The act of the whites to whip the slaves instilled fear in the Africans making them work. The whites considered the Africans to be lesser humans; as a result, the tradition of slavery amongst individuals was endorsed.
From this paper it is clear that misinformation refers to the lies of a political figure told to manipulate the mind of the public against a certain individual or group of persons. It played a crucial in contributing to the racial chauvinism and bias against the African-American, since politicians are inventing new strategies to influence the public’s opinion for their own selfish gains. This refers to the separation of African-American from other races. It was legally allowed in the US, and this encouraged the whites to discriminate the African- American populace, since the law fully protected them. The segregation has included the division of facilities and roles within an establishment, and as a result, African-Americans are being singled out along these lines.
