In other words, social conformism depends a great deal on how well people believe in their own realms and try it upon others with whom they interact, associate, or want to be friends (Ralston, 2010). This is part and parcel of any society in the world and cannot be denied under any situation whatsoever. Social deviance comes when a select group wants to dictate its own terms without keeping in mind what the rest of the members of the society believe in, and how they wish to undertake the basis of linkages that are happening on a one-to-one level.

Since the times are changing, instances of social deviances have come to the fore more and more, and this is not something surprising at all (Choudhury, 2000). Within the Asch experiment, the individuals replied with the same answer even though they knew it was wrong because they had to comply in a social manner and follow the dictum which was acceptable around them.
