Details Due Child Abuse in the Society Every action that a person does and has negative effect on a child’s emotions, sexual, physical and psychological status can be referred to as child abuse. Child abuse points to things or actions that can put a child on harms way (Gerrits & Newton 7). It is a circumstance that includes much more than physical pain such as bruises. Child abuse has also been closely related to the neglect of a child’s needs as this leaves him or her feeling left out and emotionally hurt.

Most children who have been abused are left with scars in their lives that mark a time of pain and sadness. Child abuse often destroys the future of a child. Many children today are nursing wounds, which result from child abuse. Such children are likely to suffer extremely emotional disturbances and depression. In severe cases of child abuse, children have ended up with suicidal thoughts are become extremely violent to others (Gerrits & Newton 42). They grow up with bitterness that defers their moral values.

For instance, a child may grow up to become a drug addict or adapt to other ill social habits. Nonetheless, there is a chance of abused children to overcome their predicament. It is imperative to have parents and guardians who can identify with a child’s experiences in order for one to have a feeling of belonging rather than rejected. The devastating outcomes of child abuse have solely left a remarkable duty to the community to devise means of ending child abuse (Gerrits & Newton 47). As a problem that has significantly affected the society, it is important that the people watch out for any cases of child abuse.

It is significant to note that every person needs to be appreciated and given basic care. There are agencies that one can report any cases of child abuse where the welfare of affected children is dealt handled. Works CitedNewton, Sydney, and Gerrits, Julie. Child Abuse.
