Child abuse has also been closely related to the neglect of a child’s needs as this leaves him or her feeling left out and emotionally hurt.

Most children who have been abused are left with scars in their lives that mark a time of pain and sadness. Child abuse often destroys the future of a child. Many children today are nursing wounds, which result from child abuse. Such children are likely to suffer extremely emotional disturbances and depression. They grow up with bitterness that defers their moral values.

For instance, a child may grow up to become a drug addict or adapt to other ill social habits. Nonetheless, there is a chance of abused children to overcome their predicament. It is imperative to have parents and guardians who can identify with a child’s experiences in order for one to have a feeling of belonging rather than rejected. The devastating outcomes of child abuse have solely left a remarkable duty to the community to devise means of ending child abuse (Gerrits & Newton 47). As a problem that has significantly affected the society, it is important that the people watch out for any cases of child abuse.
