The major source of my outstanding values is my family, this is as a result of the maximum time that I have spent with my family which have been very important to me. Since my child hood I found it of paramount importance to share family moments. These happened when I spent time with my grad parents and family members, this gave me a chance to learn things the best way. I have learnt to be humble since I was brought up in a humble background and this has made me remain humble. I have learnt to share thoughts, ideas and fun with my family especially on Christmas and other holidays.
From my family I have learnt to be honest, and being held responsible. I was brought up in a Christian faith based family where my father was an honest responsible man, who treated us in a good manner. My father was not a drunkard and was faithful and honest to our family. This value of my father’s honesty gave me a lesson that an honest man makes a happy family. Since my adult hood I have remained honest to my family and also take its responsibility as my first priority.
The other source of the values that I hold is my religion, as earlier discussed, I was brought up in a Christian faith based family and Christianity was my first teaching at my tender age. This Christianity has given me the values of treating others as I would like them to treat me. It is clear in the bible that one should treat one another how they would like to be treated. In this context I adopted this value which has given me a smooth run in societal relationships.
In religion I have also learnt the marriage value. Being a Christian, it is an obligation of one to leave the parent and meet a partner with whom they are married together for life. This value teaches Christians on how to live in a good marriage, this happens when the both spouses are faith full to one another. I have always maintained my trust with my spouse to avoid breaking the marriage
