Personal problems affect an individual negatively while; social problems affect an entire society negatively. Social problems have a greater magnitude impact on the community as compared to the personal problems. Different individuals in the society take different opinions concerning problems. The people who have high qualities of internal locus of control and high self-efficiency face the problems they encounter boldly and try to solve them at the individual level. This is in contrast to individuals who are considered to having low qualities of internal locus of control and high self-efficiency. This particular group of people perceive the problems they encounter to be due to external factors and should be solved by the society where the problem obtains the social problem stators in such a case.
