There is also an increase in verbal assault between the opponents and even the game officials. The rampant violence in sports has great consequences to the youths today. The youths, when fouled, think that the referee biasness towards their team hence has to fight against the penalty. Some of the youths especially those playing football term football as a violent game and one must win violently.

Therefore, that attitude pushes the youths to play a violent game toward opponent team. Moreover, some youths keep off football, which they like doing as a hobby because of fear of encountering a violent opponent.
