Focusing on either developed or developing countries, evaluate the three most important factors contributing to the rise. In support of your ideas, you should research into two or more countries, and explain the significance and consequences of the areas you describe. Based on your findings, suggest future implication and future changes.
Although life expectancy has risen significantly for the past few years, it is evident that it is likely to fall again in the near future. This will be as a result of an increase in demand which will result to overdependence on technology (industries) which will pollute the air. This is evidenced by coal miners having very short life expectancies. Genetic disorders, drug use, and excessive consumption of alcohol as well nutrient-related diseases such as obesity are likely to reduce people’s life expectancy (Life Expectancy - What is “Life Expectancy?” 2014).
Provision of good healthcare, as well as consumption of good diet, has the potential to increase life expectancy. Access to safe water and ensuring safe environmental conditions have also the potential of making people live for a long period. Unfortunately, extensive advancement in technology is likely to lower life expectancy in the near future. Most people will become lazy and avoid exercises as well as consume modified foods which will lower their period of survival. However, it is evident that life expectancy has increased significantly in developed countries because of a good economy, education, and access to good healthcare.
