This style has always worked for me because a mentee works hard not to disappoint the mentor. This form of guidance is relevant because people can get your view of problems and opportunities, and to come up with quick solutions. Am able to reprimand my mentees in a way that they can see the wrong and not feel that the method I use is unfair. I have also been mentored before and I, therefore, know what works and what does not work.
This style also has its fair share of challenges. It is taken to be an emotional style of leadership. The problem comes in when the mentees take it to be too emotional, and then I have to put my foot down for there to be positive
