Decision-making is also another aspect covered in the article and is very important in real-life situations, involving academic fields. The article above talks about some of the positivity associated with confidence in students, as well as, the need to make good decisions.

The article notes that self-beliefs as well as psychological dispositions are always very critical in making many students overconfident, thereby realizing improved performances. This is one of the events that demonstrate good illustrations of the course topics as evident in real-life situations. Being confident in classrooms is always very necessary for students to face concepts with positive attitudes, as well as, face challenges positively (Lee and Stankov, 2015). This results in improved academic performance. The issue of overconfidence has better shaped me into thinking like a sociologist in many ways. one of the ways involves having a considerable balance in the manner in which I perceive my abilities and capabilities in the real life situations.
