We go every year to Disney because it has playgrounds for both children and adults. I love to work on antique cars and customize newer cars. My current state can be attributed to my upbringing and passions natured earlier on, in my growing up despite the numerous challenges I had to overcome.
I was born in New York, U.S.A in the year 1978. The geographical terrain that helped in the development of my career was the steep and rugged terrain that enabled my sibling and I to learn on the best way to use speed in our endeavors. We participated and won in a majority of the races. The environment in which we grew in hardened my immune system and I developed to be able to survive in a diverse range of harsh environments. Before this period, my parents used to live in Miami Florida, and this is where I spend most of my childhood life. The Rwanda Genocide shaped my life as it enabled me to appreciate my life as well as value everyone and shun tribalism. Additionally, the Tsunami that rocked the coast made me stronger and loves the family more as we were spared from the same. The economic recessions that are normally experienced have assisted in helping me save up whatever little it is that I have so that it may cater for all my expenses, and save a few coins for future use. The political instabilities have shaped my life in that they have affected my schooling and career negatively due to delays.
I schooled in Miami Florida as well as New York for my entire lifetime. Throughout my schooling life, I alternated between New York and Miami Florida. I loved the experience apart from the lashing and punishments that I experienced in kindergarten through to high school. I enjoyed campus life as it build up my career and also helped me to be the responsible wife, mother and citizen of my beloved country. I am majoring in Technical Management so I can get a management promotion at my current job with the state of NJ. I am a democrat and hence, I support president Obama since he has policies that are realistic and can spur the country to greater heights. On the other hand, he makes promises that he can keep, hence I consider him a performer. I am female, and very determined to meet my goals regardless of the obstacles I may have to face. I consider myself as self-motivated and can work under minimal supervision and still afford to be punctual. I would love to make memorable reference to Michelle Obama who is determined and keeps her family together. On the other hand, I admire Ben Carson as he spurred up from a dumb boy to become the world’s best neurosurgeon. Wangari Maathai, the Nobel laureate is still my role model as she died fighting for the environment, to the extent of stripping to protect Karura forest and Uhuru park in Kenya from malicious exploits. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 22 years, and he still fought for the rights of the black people. These often inspire me to be persistent and determined in all that I do and embrace such characters of these icons. My parents and siblings are the most influential people in my life. I also cannot ignore my family i.e. my husband and my three children. Culture is dynamic and it has a way of changing somebody’s values and preferences (Chamberlayne, Rustin, & Wengraf, 2002). Myself, I have been acculturated as I have adopted my husband’s culture. We both come from different countries, hence, diverse cultural backgrounds. I have embraced the language and cultural activities from their side and blended that with my extraordinarily own. This has created a hybrid blend of children who can apply and speak in vernacular from both communities. The names that I have embraced, which include my maiden names as well as those for my children all come from my
