As a function of seeking to measure the extent to which intra-familial pressures and conflicts defined and encourage the prevalence and exhibition of the negative behaviors in male adolescents, the author sets about to perform a basic case study which is contingent upon the overall representation of psychosocial and intra-familial conflicts in the way in which it affects the troubled behavior and adolescence. From the study was conducted, it was determined that a group of 500 male adolescents that had experienced a degree of psychosocial conflict within their secondary education would be the best representation to draw a level of inference based upon the hypothesis that was previously stated. From this sample it was determined that fully one third of all participants experienced conflict in the home. Although this particular fraction may not seem as overly alarming, the fact of the matter is that it represents a sizable minority and helps to draw a level of inference and understanding based upon the extent to which psychosocial problems are ultimately borne out of the intra-familial dynamics that are oftentimes represented within the home. A further level of discussion which was not included in the study which has been here and analyze is the fact that many of the intra-familial conflicts that are evidenced within the world are not readily codify level or understandable by the researcher. As such, the likely representation of intra-familial conflict in the way in which it defines adolescent development is most likely far understated. Moreover, even though the unit of analysis within this particular article was the adolescent male, it should not be understood by the reader that the situation is unique to developmental issues within the adolescent male alone. Rather, a series of other studies have determined that intra-familial conflict as a direct correlation and bearing to such diverse aspects as future spousal abuse, the pregnancy, increased and unhealthy levels of sexual activity, self harm, and a litany of other factors. Naturally, intra-familial conflict should not be understood categorically. Of course, there are many different levels upon which it might exist and be evidenced within the adolescent or other members of the family to differing in varying degrees. In such a way, the traditional and commonsense interpretation of intra-familial conflict and its impact upon individuals within the family is flawed. Ultimately, this is a construct that can affect each and every member of the family in an adverse and negative way; regardless of their age, whether or not they are child/parent, where the gender which they represent. As a result of the inference that Chhabra was able to yield, the ultimate conclusion that was drawn was with regards to the fact that familial involvement, structure, values, and monitoring must be ever present as a means of reducing the negative forces that drive such ...Show more
