Analyzing and Identifying opportunities in high technologies Inserts His/Her Inserts Grade Inserts Name 13 April 2012 Information Technology improves the current communication process. The study deals with information technology as an important element of a prosperous society. The study is geared towards taking advantage of the information technology tools to increase the businesses’ computer unit revenues. Businesses, including the computer stores, can greatly benefit from the current opportunities of information technology to enhance the lives of the residents and increase store revenues. Information technology generates many business opportunities. Session 3. Session 3 focuses on increasing business profits with the use of nanotechnology. With nanotechnology, the business enterprise venture into the business of selling computers. with the increasing speed of nanotechnology, many current and future clients will be more enthusiastic to grab the nanotechnology-based computers. With the higher demand for nanocomputers, the computer shop’s business revenues will skyrocket (Reynolds 2005). In terms of the new technology, the article How is Technology Change Creating New Opportunities in Integrated Circuits (ICs) and Electronic System? 3rd Session states everyone can have the opportunity to compare the old technology with the new technology. With the new technology, one can improve on the current technologies. Nanotechnology is one of the global technological trends needed for the improvements of community life. Nanotechnology is very important factors for enhancing political, economic, and environmental situations (Anton, 2001). In addition, the United States must center the rehabilitation on its economy focusing on high end semiconductor manufacturing sectors (Kelley, 2004). The above clearly shows the nanotechnology is a better technological process compared to current technological hardware, which is slower. With the new technological process, the cost of computers are reduced. Nanotechnology is characterized as the use of smaller computer parts. In addition, the session centers on the importance of reducing size in order to save on avoidable production costs. With a smaller size, the company can generate faster response activities, increase accuracy and reduce time needed to accomplish preset goals and objectives. Session 4. Section 4 focuses on increasing business revenues with the use of bio-electronics technology. The computer store can sell computers to current and prospective clients using biology-based technology. Doctors, medical technologists, pharmacists, chemists, and other science researchers will eagerly grab a computer that fills their needs to enhance their current and future biology-based information technology needs (Reynolds 2005). For clarity, the article How is Technological Change Creating New Opportunities in Bio-Electronics and Bio-Electronic Systems? 4th Session states the importance of bio- electronics to improve the lives of the people. Bio-electronics focuses on the incorporation of the concepts of biology and electronics. For example, information technology includes both computer hardware and software. In the same manner, biology incorporates the bodys cells and its corresponding DNA. Likewise, the session focuses on the importance of semiconductors and IC, the new forms of transistors and electronic systems. The session vividly includes a discussion on semiconductor technology to reduce production costs. In addition, the session centers on the importance of the internet to hasten the communication process. The article How is Technological Change Creating New Opportunities in Tissue Engineering? states there are factors leading to the improvements of costs and factors affecting tissue engineering. The study centers on the new types of tissue engineering and the applications of the tissue engineering issues. The research shows that there old and new technological changes in tissue engineering. Likewise, tissue engineering must be understood in order to fully access its many advantages. In addition, the article How is Technological Change Creating New Opportunities in 3D Printing indicates 3D printing improvements current printing technology. In addition, the nation must implement better scaffolds to increase the many advantages of Tissue engineering. Session 5. Session 5 reiterates the business opportunity to sell nanotechnology based computers. Many of the current businesses prefer hardworking computers. Hardworking computers work faster than the current non-nanotechnology based computers. The clients’ revenues will surely increase because information technology is hastened, even quadrupled, by nano-based computers. The business enterprise using nano technology will surely have an edge over competitors that do not patronize nano based computers. With the higher demand for nano based computers, the computer store will increase the number of nano-based computers sold with one accounting period (Reynolds 2005). For understanding, the article How are Changes in Technology Creating Opportunities in Nanotechnology Session? states Nanotechnology plays a very important part in enhancing information technology. The new technology clearly increases the speed of information transfer. Studies have shown that the new technology improves on the many advantages of current information technology. Nanotechnology includes the use of Nano-Crystal RAM Motor, Surface tension propelled boast, and Nanotechnology tube radio. The process of making nanotechnology inlcudes top don processes and bottom up, self assembly processes (Jacko, 2003). The United States government allocates funds on the Nanotechnology (Jacko 2003). Session 6. Session 6 focuses on increase the computer company’s revenues. The government will use more computers to hasten the speed of communication. The private companies will buy more laptops and other computers to enhance their decision making activities. The private companies use the newly bought computers to access the internet (information technology). With the internet, people can chat online using Skype or Yahoo messenger. Likewise, facebook, twitter, multiply, and other social networks help companies increase revenues from current and prospective customers. The computer store can increase its computer unit sales because of the higher demand for computers and computer software (Reynolds 2005). For emphasis, the article How is Technological Change Creating New Opportunities in Telecommunications Systems? 6th Session focuses on research on new technologies. The study centers on research on the advantages of implementing relevant and effective technologies. The bottom line is to compare the advantages of both the old process and the new process. However, the new technological change is nothing if the people do not know how the maximize the new technology. In addition, the people should also focus implementing the technology having lower production and operation costs. Information technological change should take into consideration available funds (Schwalbe, 2010). For example, research should focus comparing and contrasting the use of telephone lines, copper line, wireless lines, and telegraph to transmit much needed information from the sender to the receiver. In addition, the readers should also focus on the use of optical fiber or photonics to increase the current information transfer speed. The governments research includes innovative approaches to information technology. Margetts (1999) reiterated “The wave of information systems rolling across all aspects of government administration has brought change in its wake. Session 7. Session 7 focuses on the computer store increasing its computer sales with the advent of internet video and internet music. People can watch Youtube and other video websites to download popular videos. People can visit music video websites to download their favorite songs. Some would even spend lots of time watching online news or online movies. With the increasing demand to download music videos and songs, there is a higher demand for computers. People and companies need computers to access the internet (information technology). Computer stores will increase their computer sales with the advent of the demand for internet-based videos and songs from Youtube and other similar websites (Reynolds 2005). For vividness, the article Technological Improvements in the Internet and Expansion in Internet Content and Applications states the many advantages of information technological advances. The advances include the use of internet music and video. Likewise, the article centers on the use of podcasting, blogs, 3d content and video, Mashups, and Cloud/Utility Computing. Jon Beard (1996) insists “The new technological changes increase the amount of information storage within the same square meter of hardware. In addition, streaming of music and video is one of the advantages of the new technological changes. Broadband has improved the use of the internet. With broadband, the people can use internet anywhere in society.” Broadband technological innovation has enhanced the downloading of data from any part of the world. In addition, Real Audio and CD quality sound enhances saved music and videos (Ibrahim, 2003). Information technology production and distribution is growing at a staggering rate. Few would argue that the average person of today is not literally bombarded by Information technology, or more accurately, by attempts to gain the persons attention so that Information technology may be received by the person ( Huber, 1984). Anyone walking through an airport or a shopping mall, listening to a radio, or watching television is constantly a target for attention-grabbing efforts, which may be visual, audible, mobile, or all three. Information technology is quickly reaching a point where very sophisticated presentation formats may be embedded in Information technology systems. User interfaces are becoming increasingly graphics-oriented. Users are moving away from command driven systems to ones that rely on icon manipulation. Interfaces are becoming animated, with windows that open and menus that appear and disappear. Sound may be easily incorporated into systems, so that messages include a sound (or perhaps a recorded voice) to draw attention to situations requiring user intervention. Even full-motion video is becoming easily incorporated in systems with processors that are widely available today. Session 8. Session 8 focuses on the improvements on the prior computer inventions. With the continuing enhancement of the computer, computer store sales will increase. As time goes by, the newer computers are made with faster information technology speed compared with the prior computers. For example, the current hard disk capacity of 360 gigabytes replaced the prior 500 mg hard disk. With Windows 7, the prior software, Windows XP has been relegated to the display shelves or unceremoniously dumped into the nearest trash can. With the continuing influx of better computer software and hardware, the computer store will continue to bask in comfort of high computer revenues (Reynolds 2005). The article How is Technological Change Creating New Opportunities in Lighting and Displays? Indicates the importance of lighting and displays technologies on society. The article indicates that the costs affect the implementation of the new lighting and display technological changes. Lighting includes incandescent and flourescent, light emitting diodes (LEDS) and system lighting issues. In terms of displays, the article focuses on the use of cathode ray tube, liquid crystal displays (LCDs) as well as cost reductions from increases in scale of LCD levels. The incandescent lights have poor efficiencies when compared to the flourescent lamps. In addition, information technology includes the flooding of faster and better output software (Forester, 1985). With information technology, Newspapers, television, and radio news is enhanced (Reis, 2004). Angela McFarlane (1996) reiterates “It is worth remembering that in 1980 the only experience of computers children had was confined to the realms of science fiction. The desk-top personal computer was a new invention and yet to become a consumer product. No computers of any kind had any significant presence in British schools. Session 9. Session 9 focuses on the importance of information technology on enhancing the life of the citizens. Computers are used to control the stop, go, and wait activities of a computerized train. Some cars use computer software (information technology) to start, run, or slow the car’s travel activities. With the new communications technology, the transportation companies will need more computers. The computer stores are assured of higher computer sales with the higher demand for transporation-based computers (Reynolds 2005). For comprehension, the article How Might Technological Change be Creating New Opportunities in Energy and Transportation Systems? centers on the importance of new energy and transportation systems. Likewise the article centers on the economy of any new technological change. The article talks about the efficiency of engines. With the increase in temperatures, there is a need for better materials, often larger scale, and often engines will help increase the production output. Engines are needed to increase safety in transportation assets. The assets include the trans, aircraft, ships, and vehicles. The engines can be classified as either Low bypass or High bypass. Information technology has many advantages (Kirk, 2009). Stephen Tansey (2003) states the nation “should consider the nature of the Information Technology industry, including the role of producers of hardware (computing and telecommunications) and software, publishers of information technology, retailers and consultants. This discussion is illustrated by a number of case studies of different IT firms, mostly in the words of the organizations themselves”. The above author introduces the importance of two kinds of complex global technologies. One of the alternatives is the physical network of electronic communications which links computer systems across the world and enables multi-media connections between the affected parties and organizations of all sorts. The growth of the information technology is implemented; the social and political implications of this development are considered further by managers. The second effect of technology is an economic network or global marketplace enhancements. The global information technology has introduced to the first and is a part of the second meeting. Session 10. Session 10 focuses on the importance of information technology in the power-generating sectors of society. The wind power generating companies need computers to monitor and control the wind generating process of wind turbines. In the same manner, the environmental groups prefer wind power as an alternative source of the United States’ electricity needs. The wind turbine companies need computers to communicate much-needed information from its wind power location to the company’s head office. In turn, the computer stores will stand to benefit from the wind power generating activities’ need for computers. The computer stores will be able to sell more computers to fill the urgent needs of the wind power generating activities of the electric companies (Reynolds 2005). For better understanding, the article Wind Turbines: What Drives Cost Reductions and Creates New Opportunities in Them? states that there are some factors triggering cost reductions and creates opportunities. The article shows that there are Horizontal Axis wind turbines located on either land and sea sits. In addition, there are large wind farms in the ocean and land. The demand for wind turbines have increased. Wind turbines do not increase the current pollution entering the atmosphere. The wind turbines generate electricity by converting wind energy to electricity energy. One of the advantages of cost reduction is the capacity to increase the number of wind turbines installed. The increase in the number of wind turbines will increase the amount of electricity produced for the community. Information technology should be controlled (Heap, 1995) Wind power doe not emit carbon emission. Carbon emissions produce environment damaging pollution. However, one of the disadvantages of wind energy is that there are times when wind is absent. The three key dimensions in wind power geometric scaling are rotor diameter, swept area of blades, and hub or tower height. Likewise the speed of the wind affects the amount of electricity produced by the wind turbines. To increase the electricity output of the wind turbines, higher wind turbines must be created. The cost of wind turbines includes the capital cost of wind turbine and almost half the capital costs are in tower and blades. The article Solar Cells: What Drives Cost Reductions and Creates New Opportunities in Solar Cells states solar cells lower the need for fossil fuel -based electricity. The solar cells produce electricity using the principle of Photovoltaic Effect. Based on the above discussion, information technology improves the communication activity. The information technology is important to society. The secondary data affirms the importance of information technology. Clearly, businesses, especially the computer stores, can take advantage of the many opportunities of information technology to enhance the lives of the residents and increasing business revenues.
