We have decided to choose this location because we believe that our customers will have a great time in Tanzania. United State of Tanzania was formerly known as Tanganyika but in 1964 Tanzania and Zanzibar merger together to form Tanzania. Tanzania is a beautiful and peaceful nation which is blessed with beautiful landscapes, mountains, peaks, famous national parks such as Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and so on. Tanzania is one of the biggest countries in African and it is boarded by Uganda and Kenya to the North, Burundi, Rwanda and Congo to the West, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia to the South and Indian Ocean to the East. Also, the highest point in Africa and the 4th world biggest mountain is also in Tanzania - Mount Kilimanjaro. Our holiday is a full package of eight days so they will have a chance to visit all the places that are include in the package. During this holiday our customer will stay in Arusha for three nights at Klein’s Camp which is a permanent luxury lodge in northern Serengeti Arusha-Tanzania and the remaining four nights they will spend their holiday to the East Coast of Zanzibar at Matemwe Retreat which is a luxury villa with your own terrace and plunge pool. Moreover, Zanzibar is an island which located in Indian Ocean but it is also a partner state in Tanzania. Our customer will have a chance to view the wildlife in three or four nation parks in North Tanzania – Arusha such as Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Tarangire and Manyara. Serengeri National Park also known as the Endless Palins is the oldest and most popular national park in Tanzania and Serengeti is a world heritage site. About Serengeti, size: 5700 sq. miles, Location: 208 miles from Arusha, stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. Best month to visit the wildebeest migration December – July and to see predators June – October. Ngorongoro is a home of the highest density of wild animals found in one area in Africa. The national park is located 110 miles to the west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania. Also, is recognized by one private organization as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Best time to visit June – September for general wildlife viewing. Tarangire National Park is the best known for its huge elephant population and tree climbing lions as well as being home to a huge variety of birds. About Tarangire, size: 1096 sq. miles, Location: 75 miles from southwest of Arusha. Best months to visit June - September for sheer numbers of animals. Furthermore, our holiday will be held once a year in May. The reason being is because between May is the best time to go and view the wildlife. Within this package, accommodation and activities are all included in the same price. But these activities that are already included they are just option activities so customer can choose what they want but for viewing wildlife they will need to pay different amount. Activities We have allocated the activities to the days so that the consumers are aware of what we will be doing and when it will happen so that they are aware. Marketing: In each tour visit it would include 10 people and would cost £2500 for each person including the flights so the tourists don’t have to book a ticket. The flights are also included as booking a ticket can be time consuming so the tourists don’t have to worry about it as everything is included except the insurance and Visas. There are many place that the packages includes that tourists will visit such as Arusha – Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater National Park, Tarangire National Park and East Coast of Zanzibar in Indian Ocean. In order to publicise our tour we will be running a marketing campaign by publishing it on social media such as by creating our own company’s Facebook and twitter page and give regular updates about the tour packages by providing details about the accommodation, activities and entrance fees and the travel around Tanzania. This will attract more tourists as it may interest them so they may want to go with their friend or their partner. This is a really effective way as it’s also cost effective and the news about the tourist packages will reach tourists. . As well as, we have also decided to broadcast the tour packages on classic FM radio channel in order to make more people aware of the tourist packages. We have also decided that we would create posters and advertise them online and in public places, such as parks or the mall. This is because more people will find out about the exotic locations waiting for them to discover in Tanzania. We will also be handing out flyers to people so that they can see what we can offer on our tour. Moreover all advertising and marketing campaigns will commence 3 months before the tour. This enables the customers to prepare for our luxurious tour. This is another way that we can market our tour to attract the mass market. We will run the tour once a year so that we can limit the supply and increase the demand for our holidays. This will ensure us that every time we run our tour then it will be fully booked thus ensuring us profit. We will also advertise through social media such as twitter and Facebook 3 months before the tour commences. Also we will be printing out through an advertising company Vistaprint (2015) flyers and posters so that we can display in markets and public place. We have also decided that we will advertise on radio FM because we want to catch the attention of the age range 25- 45 year old which participate the most, according to the Explore date (Explore, 2015); Competition Every company need to understand the relationship between the price and demand. The travel sector is characterized by strong competition that influences the general prices of the companies the customers responsiveness is relatively high where in the market of the demand makes the price and the perceptions of the customers more elastic result more sensitive to the price change.
