Essay, Visual Arts and Film Studies 1. The image below of is of a cloud called the altocumulus. They are grey clouds with bundles, sheds or rollers. The hue of the image is a medium too as the artist has used neither much of the black color nor usage of strong light in its background. The artist has presented the image in a two dimensional point of view since only presented the image with only its base and height while ignoring its breath. The decision to use only one of the primary colors, that is black, the author somehow minimized the costs, as when people look at the body of the image. He used minimal black color in his paintings and light intensity too which was also equally low. In this way, the image and clarity of the image have been presented very well as the viewer does not take much time to visualize on the content and the composition of the image. In fact, the artist in his painting techniques had designed the image to create a sense of humor to any viewer that could be viewing the image for his work or any study purposes o any other purpose. Most of the images made by using different kind of color as this artist has used are mostly appealing to the viewers as they are simple to understand and interpret. There is less time involving in visualizing their composition. Contents and the forms of such particular images also present a cool temperature nature of the conditions they were taken. 2. The image below is that of altostratus clouds. These clouds are usually characterized by dense, gray layer cloud that is often evenly and opaquely to enable any form of a little sunshine to penetrate. In this image, the background is very dim and thereby portraying that the atmospheric perspective point from where the photograph was captured. It could have been at the very far distance or from an aerial point of view. Observers can articulate from the image that that the art of calligraphy was of low representation as it its hue is much dim. The photo seems to be from an area that had very bright light hence interfering with the color strength of the background of the product. From the look of the image, observer can represent its temperature to be that of a cool scenario due to its dimness. The artist, therefore, could have used any of the complimentary colors; that is either red and yellow or yellow and blue or yellow and violates to give the image the strongest contrast it could have. People can also see the use of pointillism when viewed from a very close range since there are some small dots that could be seen at the background of the image. The small dots that the artist used during his painting work could also create an impression on the image as of rough texture surface. Rough texture may mean that the artist may not have been qualified or intended to create a notable style or theme in the image to the respective viewer while designing his or her image. The proportionality of the image is also clearly brought as it tries to represent the entire environment as that of cool surrounding as shown with the use of dim colour that is within its environment. 3. The image below represents that of stratocumulus clouds. These clouds look like places, rollers or banks of compound dark gray layer clouds There has been used of high form of calligraphy in this painting especially thereby and creating a clear representation of the image to the viewer. The realism of the image is of much high quality as the viewers can easily visualize the content of the image. It also looks much appealing and attractive to the viewer due to the use of pink color nature. In its abstraction, the image is clearly presented in a generalized manner in that the viewer can easily understand and make his or her own valid conclusions from the image. When looking at the body of the image, the overall work of the artist is quite fine as the number of color power used was moderate for the viewer to understand what contents it tries to present to the real world. Due to the sound power of color of the image, when interpreted, from an atmospheric point of view, the image could have been taken from close range. The view of chiaroscuro is, therefore, not presented at all as the image is very clear to both the reader and the viewer. There is a point to note that many viewers prefer the hueness of the image choice since it is a pure blending of either of two primary colors, to give out any of the available. 4. The image below represents stratus clouds. These clouds are grey in colour and near the earth surface. They are responsible for the cause of fog or the precipitation that do occur sometimes, especially early in the morning after long nights In this article, the artist has used the art of calligraphy very well as depicted from the design of the title writings. The image representation is also moderately fine as it is quite clear from the on look of its face. The color power applied was also moderately strong as it is neither dark nor light from the viewpoint. The artist, therefore, took his time in painting an image in order to create the best use of style of realism in his painting work. The image appears to be realistic in nature as the visuality is quietly clear. Observers can also see from the clarity of the image that it must have been taken from close range point especially through ground level. It is also seen that the artist might have presented the art of naturalism in his work as the image content has been painted with the use of the one of the primary colors; that is black. It is an image of its natural origin without blending s to produce the secondary colors. The use of light colors by the artist from its background has created the effect of simultaneous contrast, as the image seems to appear bright and more intense when viewed from isolation. In its shape, the image can be seen drawn and painted in a two dimensional viewpoint since it has only two lines that have been drawn and thereafter painted to create the already obtained image. The art of chiaroscuro has been used in light quantity, as the image hue does not show strong strength. The use of the black color by the artist in this image has also enabled it to create a kind of shade hence reducing the effect of much brightness from its background, thereby making it be of reality to the viewer. 5. These types of clouds as seen from their image below do form heaps. They also have the flat basis in the middle or lower level that its vertical development resembles that of towers, cauliflower or cotton There has been used of high form of calligraphy in this painting thereby and creating a clear representation of the image to the viewer. The realism of the image is of much high quality as the viewers can easily visualize the content of the image. It also looks much appealing and attractive to the viewer due to the use of pink color nature. In its abstraction, the image is clearly presented in a generalized manner in that the viewer can easily explain and make his or her own valid conclusions from the image. When looking at the form of the image, the overall work of the artist is quite fine as the number of color strength used was moderate for the viewer to understand what contents it tries to present to the real world. Due to the sound power of color of the image, when interpreted, from an atmospheric point of view, the image could have been taken from close range. The perspective of chiaroscuro is, therefore, not presented at all as the image is very clear to both the reader and the viewer. It is also crucial to identify that many viewers prefer the hueness of the image choice since it is a pure blending of either of two primary colors, to give out any of the available secondary colors. The image is also presented in a three dimensional view as it has both breath, base and height when looked at close range. Works cited Day, John A. The Book Of Clouds. 1st ed.
