Evaluation of the movie V for Vendetta V for Vendetta movie is a 2006 political thriller movie from collaboration between the American and German worlds directed by James McTeigue. The movie is based on a story of the 1982 novel of the same name developed by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. The V is a political freedom fighter in anarchist regime that tries to accomplish a number of terrorist attacks with a quest to ignite revolutionary actions against the regime. It bases on the history of the Guy Fawkes and the popular Gunpowder plot that involved a plot to have the palace of Westminster blown up during a proceeding of a parliament meeting between James I and the ministers. The meeting was aimed at developing oppression Roman Catholics. As a strong catholic convert, Fawkes aimed at protecting the people and through this; he was enjoined in the plot with others as the military man that would provide the military experience needed to enrich their plot. Fawkes was the man for the job based on his history and relation to the catholic development (Fawkes). The movie portrays an investigative ploy that ends up leading to a number of deaths with Stephen Rea the detective trying to stop V finding it difficult to handle his job well due to the tactical aspects of V that becomes difficult to handle. The movie released in 2006 was scheduled for release in 2005 due to some inevitable delays. The target was to release it on a day when the country marked the 400th Guy Fawkes Night. The night believed to be the night that he was executed opposite the buildings of parliament after the trial found him guilty of treason. The movie portrays the acts of the political class with a detailed picture of their thoughts and actions in relation to protecting their political strength. They portray the actions that the political class takes when passing a message to prevent uprisings and any revolutionary attempts on their reign. The movie displays this picture well and strengthens the political class while instilling fear in the ruled. Released in March 21, 2006, the soundtrack used in the movie was developed by Asralwerks Records (cdUniverse). The soundtrack features more than one vocal played as the film proceeds. “Cry me a river” Julie London, “I found a reason” by Cat Power, “I am a bird now” by Antony and Johnsons are among the sound tracks played in the movie. These sound tracks are selected due to their correlation with the movie’s content and the aspects involved in the whole story. Other sound tracks feature knives and bullets that are part of the whole story displaying the true picture of the movie contents. The sound track is based on the story in order to carry the audience through the whole movie as a way of keeping the movie and the audience involved with the movie. They are correlated with the movie content to picture the story more and connect it to the audience in a way that is understandable. The sound truck of any movie produces the actual sound that resonates in the minds of the audience and makes the memory of the lines in the movie and scenes easy. The actual target for the sound truck is to enhance the attachment that the audience develops on the movie while watching. The movie features good acting that is as a result of utilizing good actors in it. Looking at the cast with Hugo Weaving as V displays acts of charismatic skilled and strong willed actors that display freedom fighting as a passion. As the main actor wearing a mask from the beginning to the end of the movie, he displays a strong connection to the movie that only good actors can do. As part of the team that produced matrix series, Hugo is a popular name on the screens using him gave a good picture to the acting in the movie. Other actors involved included Natalie Portman an actor from the Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones with other works on the resume. Stephen Rea, John Hurt all people with a good reputation in the film industry. These give the movie a good acting making it a classic picture to consider. Good acting is normally associated with good The movie definitely meant something. With the many political developments faced in the current political world, many aspects of treason have led to over through of governments. Revolutionary acts that have led to wars in the Middle East and overthrow of governments, the movie picture the political field as a challenging world that requires much tact and strong heartedness to handle. Following this movie creates a picture of the world political scenes and gives them the definition that helps each person that watches the movie follow and understand the political ploys. The movie evokes emotions in the sense of the acts that V portrays while saving the people he cares about as per the movie. The V protects the people it cares about that the political class targets. It is part of the plot developed to eliminate those oppose the political nature of the country and so eliminating them is aimed at reducing opposition. The emotions stream in as innocent people become targets of a political class that cares less of how people feel about its leadership. The movie develops on aspects of homosexuality, totalitarianism, Islam phobia, terrorism and criticisms of religion. The context of the movie makes it attached to political developments facing the current world. Aspect of terrorism, Islam phobia in relation to the Islamic revolution and terrorism connections are all involved in the plan. Sociopolitical groups have developed their criticisms of the movie through the story line as stated above and they have developed to criticize the movie and the way it pictures politics and these social aspects. Relating to the thesis, the movie acts show how politicians handle these aspects and the feeling they develop in the people they lead. The plot developed in the movie is developed in line with the different political plots that many politicians have developed to enrich themselves at the expense of their followers. The attachment of the plots brings out a classic picture of the energy and the lengths that the political class are willing to reach to protect their political interests. The script and the whole story is based on a novel written by Alan Moore. The story though holds some difference between it and the graphic novel; they relate more in the plot involved and the way that the plot is hatched. They picture true political situations that have existed. The story in the movie much relates to the current political situations while the story in the book relates to the old relations of the British and British Thatcherism. The movie takes approximately 2 hours in length making it easy to follow and understand. The movie is developed in a sense that does not allow boredom to cover the audience. It develops on the principle of keeping the audience fully engaged to the end of it all. Human concentration is known not to last for a long time and considering this aspect in movie development provides an easy to follow movie for the audience. The movie is visually appealing and attractive to the audience. It is developed on standard visual needs of the audience and in a way that attracts the eye marking the success of the film in the industry. The visual connotation of pictures and the video quality all play a major role in developing the movie to success and easy blending with the needs of the audience. The development of the character in the movie matches the needs and class admissible in the political fields. The characters are all selected from movies that indicate wars between the loyal and the people against a selected regime giving the particular movie a systematic and easy flow. The characters easily blend into the movie too due to the experience levels and the knowledge they have on the different movie scenes relationships. They all are involved in roots to freedom fighting kind of movies that provide them with ease in acting the movie. This experience is much necessary in the movie V for Vendetta since it displays political plays that develop keenness in political followings and thoughts of political class. The characters of this movie are therefore developed in a matching effect to the movie’s needs. In conclusion, the political context of the current generation is full of ploys and plots to have the different governments face oppositions and overthrown with regard to different political alignments to identifiable roots. Different regimes in the world today have gone down due to these ideologies and the Arab uprising seen as the revolution in the current world. These have been propelled more by the political difference existing between countries and the technological advancements that have created a global village which many uprisings are attributed to. The political needs of any regime require proper analysis and consideration of amicable means of handling differences rather than creating tensions that cause splits between populations. Putting these into a movie requires highly sophisticated relation of ideas, technology and knowledge in the contents of political aspects. These create the ease for the development of the movie and the blend of these that led to the production of the movie V for Vendetta that is an act of political classifications.
