Unmistakably identifiable individuals from racial and ethnic persecuted groups keep on struggling for equivalent access and opportunity. Unless controlled, these conditions constantly prompt more noteworthy ethnic and racial competition and more noteworthy political, social, and economic oppression. According to Barusch (264), racism is a modern phenomenon that has been in place for a longer time and it aims at alienation and exploitation of both the economic and social states of the victims.

Anti-racism program
I come from a metropolitan area and for that reason, the area is home to all races of the world. In the past years, there has been conflicting between different races living within the area. The situation around the area can trace its roots back to the time when the area was growing with the establishment of industries and other social amenities. There was a huge movement of people from other regions of the country seeking employment and better social amenities. In return, there was an increase in population which was made up of different races. With time, differences started rising among individuals from different races. Some felt to be more superior to others. The main races that have greatly been affected are African-Americans and Latinos. Racism is highly manifested in places of work, educational facilities, and among social amenities like restaurants and places of worship. African-Americans particularly have been victimized more than other races as they are the minority within the area.

Plan for the program

The plan against racism will take place in three main areas; Educational institutes, social places, and public places. The idea is to create social awareness and ask people to stand against racism. The following people will be involved in the program;
o Local police administration
o The local community leaders
o Religious leaders

The program will run for a month and will be taking place daily running from Monday to Saturday. The use of the Ying Yang will be very instrumental as our tool or instrument of communication. The Yin Yang is known globally to represent two different opposites. In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang portray how inverse or opposite powers are corresponding, interconnected, and reliant in the regular world, and how they offer ascent to one another as they interrelate to each other. Numerous unmistakable dualities are considered physical indications of the duality symbolized by yin and yang. This duality lies at the starting points of numerous branches of traditional Chinese science and rationality, being an essential rule of customary Chinese medicine, and a focal standard of diverse types of Chinese hand-to-hand fighting and activity.

The use of this Symbol will help represent the interconnection of different races for a common good. The message of the program is that all people are equal and need each other. All people complement each other. No race is superior to the other in any way. According to Gallagher and Lippard (296), all humans are considered equal regardless of their race or origin. Actions of racism undermine the nature of humanity and the indented harmony. In a community, all people have a role to play regardless of their origin.

The program will entail visual arts which include the use of skits, plays, and talks. The main idea is to use visual arts to capture the attention of the public and then maximize that time communicate to with them. Through skits and plays, we shall involve themes that talk about issues related to racism and the oppression of different races. The use of images, pictures, and music will equally play a vital role in passing the message to the audience. The strategic use of planned themes will silently be used to communicate to the public without offending any specific audience. The incorporation of stakeholders in the community like the police and the community leaders will help the program gain authenticity as some people may be skeptical about the program. The presence of these parties will help the program win more people and help publicize the program. Similarly, the team members will be selected strategically to represent the face of the town which is a combination of all races from the world.

Anticipated Impact
The program anticipates creating a social change for people about racism. The community is actively involved in propagating racism. Radicalization of young people who might not have been exposed to racism is one way through which people end up growing up with negative perceptions regarding other races and consider them superior. The program is aimed at changing the perception of both the young and old regarding racism. Doolin (214) explains that racism is a culture that is passed down from one individual to another by changing their perception of the other race.

It is also anticipated that the program will create a public discussion which is a very important thing. Once the community is in conversation regarding racism, the chances of change are very high as most people will start reconsidering their stand on racism. This is also important as it will help put a sense of consciousness among radical individuals.
