As the semester began, I got the interest in writing and, therefore, I went for it. At first, it was not that easy as the major challenge was collecting. My drive for writing was the pleasure that I get when I read written materials. I write if not only for fun, then also to broaden my mind and achieve my objective of collecting vast ideas and distributing them to my targeted audiences. Because of my love for reading, I manage to collect the required information which really strike directly the minds of my audiences and leave them with in depth ideas about the information I try to pass in my writing.

My pieces of work try to give deeper explanation to certain phrases, which may seem unclear to the readers. It uses a soft but direct tone and gives the reader confidence in the authority portrayed by my work. Such make me as a reader come out as a person with good personality and conveys authority as well being sensible in whatever I pass to the readers. Majorly, my work has been in the print form but I am trying to advance it so that it may cover also the electronic and other forms of presentation.

My major strength is the ability to elaborate in depth my work so that the readers find it easy to conceptualize what I clearly mean. This sometimes I do by using pictures and diagrams that give more meaning to my writings. Furthermore, my weakness in the same field is occasional use of inadequate pictures that are not elaborate to show all the happenings in the story line. This is due to lack of space since I try to maintain brevity and precision in my writing as much as possible. The exceeding use of pictures and diagrams make the document more bulky which is not good for expository writing.

I try to use diagrams and pictures which prove to be having the most resources as possible (Reflecting on your writing portfolio 255). Another strength that I normally use in my writing is the use of interactive questions to my readers. I ask the readers some questions which will leave them thinking broadly. I try to put more efforts in my work and work with little hesitation to provide my work to the access of my readers. This is the point that sometimes gets tricky and may demoralize or encourage a writer in the sense that you get different criticism of your work from the readers: some being positive and others are negative.

At this point, one needs to learn that writing is a progressive art and those who grow and develop in it take the readers’ comments positively to change where necessary or improve and maintain on the merits. Just as you practice playing a guitar
