Its true as organizations are looking towards avenues which are cost effective and are willing to carry out activities through the process of outsourcing Question 2 It is imperative that organizations keep in tune with the recent trends and find out ways which will help them to deal with the different business needs and requirements. The human resource team has to look at identifying ways through which better control can be exercised and needs to continuously look for new tools and process which will help to deal with the changing business scenarios. Businesses by being innovative, hiring the correct manpower and providing the required training and other aspect can look at improving the manner in which different trends are witnessed. Even different tools and techniques will help to keep with the changing business environment and ensure better decisions One of the most recent trends which HR is using and has helped organizations is providing both on and off the job training to the people selected by creating hypothetical situations. This has helped to provide the required training and is acting as a method through which better decisions are being taken and improved the manner in which organizations work. Question 3 Some of the basic strategies which has been used by organizations to streamline their process of carrying out activities are Empowering employees which has helped to improve the process of decision making as employees are able to take better decisions and deal with the different situations by themselves Continuous training so that the skills of the employees are continuously shaped which has enabled to use the different resources in a better way and improved the process though which employees take decisions Working on a global arena by having tie ups with other organization, groups and distributors so that a ready market is developed which has enabled to carry out different process effectively Improving the process of distribution by using lean management techniques so that the gaps within the business is filled Question 4 a. This will require employees who have the required skills and are able to change and mould their style of working with changing business scenarios. The workforce also has to be one where the business is able to make changes so that improvements can be made and better results can be executed. Question 2 The operational role of the business deals with using the different ways and process through which the goals of the business can be achieved whereas strategic roles looks at finding out different ways which can be used to achieve the business goals so that a process which is the most cost effective and provides efficiency is selected The human resource function is thereby undergoing changes as the human resource department has to understand the importance of strategic management and needs to select ways which will provide efficiency and help to carry out the work in the best possible manner Question 3 Human resource is one of the most important function in an organization as human resource department understands the manpower need and looks at finding out the prospective manpower through which the business process can be carried out. Human resource apart from selecting the employees looks towards improvement in employee morale, productivity and engagement so that better results can be achieved out of the process. The human resource acts as a link and deals with the different issues those employees faces so that they are able to work in a better way. They are expected to provide useful feedback from the customers regarding their needs, changes and improvements so that customer satisfaction can be enhanced. Lack of policies to manage the employees lead towards complexities and the organization is not able to achieve the required goals. Question 7 Good pay will help the hotel to retain employees as employees will be able to fulfil the different necessities of life. A good pay will also get reflected on the work as the employees will be more satisfied and will be able to execute the different roles and responsibilities in a better and coordinated manner. The process will require to provide the required training so that employees are able to carry out the different roles and responsibilities in a better way. The process needs to identify the different direction where the employee needs to work. This will enable the process to be better placed and will enable the business to be carried out in most effective manner. a.
