(Coe, 2003) In this paper, author will try to discuss one of the most important aspects of success of a business organization, which is the proper creation and management of the marketing related factors in a business organization. This study has been done, in order to identify, understand, and analyze different environmental factors that affect the global and domestic marketing decisions in an organization. Different factors will be discussed with relation to technology that is playing a crucial role in the success of organizations in different parts of the globe.

A number of experts have given significant importance to environmental factors; however, some have argued that marketing decision processes are not affected by environmental factors in a significant manner. In this regard, comprehensive research is required to understand the consequences of such factors during the marketing of a product or service in an organization. In order to acquire a detailed understanding, the paper has chosen one of the most successful international organizations to investigate the impact of environmental factors on its marketing decisions.

One of the largest coffeehouse companies is Starbucks Corporation globally. It runs more than 15,000 stores in approximately forty-four countries. Hot coffee, coffee beans, hot drinks, and snacks are some of the items from its wide range. The Starbucks Entertainment division is responsible for marketing its products through print media, music, and film. Starbucks is also selling some of its products in partnership with Pepsi Co. (Starbucks, 2008) In addition; Starbucks Corporation is considered one of the top-ten companies that are running their business operations domestically, as well as, internationally.
