Professor Name Institution, course number Date Creative writing People face a variety of difficult situations in their life. Being forced to live in the society, where all individuals are different, which often causes misunderstandings, the person appears in the constant crisis, which later becomes his normal way of life. The troubles are accepted as situations, which need to be sold without the negative emotions. However, at some stage, it is very difficult to overcome the pessimistic way of thinking, especially if you are unable to succeed in something you really need. Thus, students face constant stress during the education period. At first sight, it may seem that their problems are not of great importance, comparing with those, which happen in the life of more experienced people. However, the process of study requires hard work and patience, despite the fact that there are some factors, which can become a real obstacle for the study. The aim of this work is to describe the difficult situations, which I faced during my education process and analyze the way I coped with them. Study time is the period, when you do not think that something can go wrong. Every student is sure that he is quite clever and will be able to pass the required tests easily by means of proper preparation. I was the student of such kind. When I attended classes, I listened very careful everything, the teachers said. After the lessons I thoroughly did my homework, looking through the new information and acquiring fresh knowledge and it worked. I came to my lessons in time, always prepared and got good marks. My classmates helped me if I could not understand the topic and I helped them in reverse. We had a great collaboration and the education process was successful. The story, which I would like to describe in this paper, happened when I was at the eleventh form. I was preparing for my AD tests and had to revise much from the previous course. In addition, the teachers gave us the new tasks, which should have to prepare us for the final form of control. I was pretty busy and very serious in my desire to pass everything successfully, as I knew these results would influence my further education. Everything went well, except my English classes. The material seemed quite difficult and confusing for me, but this state was predetermined by the specific factors. The thing was that English as the subject did not receive much attention from the authority of the school. Our lessons did not have a specific structure, they were held in a casual way. During the lessons, we did not receive much information about grammar structure or learning the new vocabulary. We mostly focused on texts, which we read and then reproduce the main parts, revealing their essence. This task is quite important for the memory and development of speaking skills of the students, but the exercises were not successfully combined, which led to the misunderstanding in dealing with home tasks. In addition to this, we seldom had home tasks, but regularly had substitution of teachers in English class. It was quite a difficult situation, considering the fact that we prepared for the final tests. I had no idea, how to act in such a situation. My mother had several conferences with the teacher, but she told her only the things my mother wanted to hear. No one saw a problem in this type of education process, but the result was that I was not prepared to my AP exam. Since that time, I felt the same emotions, which are experienced by people in depression. I could not imagine how to pass my exam and the worst thing was that no one could help me. I felt awful because of my constant fear to fail the exam. I searched for the methods of solving the problem and understood that if no one could help me, I should help myself. I purchased a work book and started to study on my own. It wasn’t easy, because I had to organize and manage lessons by myself. I analyzed the difficult topics and if there was not enough information used the internet resources to clarify them. Several times a week, I worked at my English, preparing for the exam. I managed to find the weak points in my language skills and made the great efforts to reach the good level in their usage on practice. I tried to revise as much as I could, taking into consideration the facts that I had not only to learn the information but practically apply it in various tasks, such as comparing, multiple choice and so forth. To my greatest happiness, I achieved the positive results, I was working for. Firstly, I noticed that my marks at English became higher and I began to understand more of my school program. Secondly, English became one of my hobbies and I continued its exploring. Thirdly, I have passed my exam with good results, which was the best award for my endless hard work and hundreds of learning hours. I was satisfied with the progress I made. The teacher noticed my success and expressed the high level of assistance in my English study. The conflict was solved and I gained the precious experience not only in my English study, but also in understanding of how to deal with such situations. I should say that it helped me a lot in my further study. I’m sure that such difficulties will not cause problems for me again, because I understood that no teacher or school can be helpful if you want to know more. If the aim of the student is to gain knowledge, than he must make great efforts in order to achieve it. Teachers are imperfect, as well as the education process as a whole. Thus, if one struggles for knowledge, he must primarily account for himself. The area in which I experienced the greatest improvement was English grammar. Earlier, I had a lot of gaps in my brain as for its structure. But after the individual study of its peculiarities, I began to see the way how this system works and understood that it has many interconnected items, which function as one mechanism. The problematic area, which remains in such situations, is that not every person can educate himself. Lack of experience in choosing the necessary sources and hours of working with the confusing material, considering that no one can guarantee the effective result provides the difficulties for the students who face such a situation. Concluding this article, it is important to state that the successful resolution of the problem is the result of the consecutive actions, taken by the individual, who faces it. The first emotions, which rise from the problem, are mostly pessimistic. However, the most important thing in this case is to put yourself together and think clearly what can be done. It is necessary to remember that there is always the way out, it should just be found. Works Cited Rathus, A. Spencer. Psychology. Fort Worth, TX: Holt, Rinehart, and Winston, 1990. Print Read More
