Your full November 28, Video Critique The video, The Machine is Us/ing Us, talks about a new step in the evolution of the World Wide Web through Web 2.0 application. Michael Wesche has discussed how technology and its advancements have been able to alter our lives drastically. Web 2.0 is evolutionary because it has made social interaction easy through sharing content and ideas, social networking, blogging, and a lot more. Users are no longer passive consumers of the internet; instead, they can interact with the WWW, and be active participants of the information and content being shared online.

Users can use blogs, wikis, podcasts, social networks, and online marketing, to view, review, comment, share, upload, download, and debate on controversial topics. Web 2.0 technologies can also be used in business world through applications that provide a collaborative platform to businessmen, where they can collaborate with their partners and customers right from their offices and homes. So, the reader comes to know that we are using machines while becoming machines ourselves. I totally agree with Wesche because I believe that it is actually we who are the Machines, because it is we who tell the machine what to do.

But at the same time, the machine is also using us, by making us collaborate with the world. The reference to digital ethnography helps explain how technological advancements have changed our lives entirely. The video is very informative and entertaining, and the way Wesche has used digital text and dynamism is wonderful. The use of technical terms and their description is very informative for a layman.
