a. Versions on XBOX:-
1. Halo: Combat Evolved 1
Halo: Combat Evolved also known as Halo: CE or Halo is the first game of the Halo Series that was released in 2001 and is considered the Killer app for the Xbox gaming system. About five million copies of Halo: CE were sold within four years after its release which forced Microsoft to launch its computer versions.

2. Halo 2
The second part of the Halo sequel was launched in 2004 on Xbox and later the Microsoft version for computers in 2007. The game was improved with multiplayer maps. Also, players can alternatively choose the role of a human and an alien in a war which made the game more interesting.
b. Versions on XBOX360:-
1. Halo 3
Halo 3 is the third part of the halo sequel that concluded the ‘story arc’ which continued for the previous 2 parts of the series. Halo 3 sold more than US $170 million worth of copies on the first day of release which broke all the previous records.
2. Halo 3: ODST
A new version of Halo 3: ODST was released in 2009 known as “Orbital Drop Shock Troopers”. Players are given the choice of two modes of playing that they can choose from. One is ‘Campaign mode’ and the other is ‘Firefight’. It is a multiplayer game with a more difficult enemy line to kill and survive for longer.
3. Halo: Reach
After releasing Halo 3 in 2007, Bungie split up into two teams, one created the ODST version while the other created Reach. It came up with a new storyline taking place in 2552, where humans are locked with aliens. Covenant attack the human world and players fight them back by controlling the soldier named Noble Six.


4. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary
Halo: CEA is an advanced form of Halo: Combat Evolved. It was released alongside Halo 4 in 2011 by a large number of companies. It was a more advanced game with extraordinary features including new maps, multiplayer, and Xbox live service. The game was the first that supported the Kinect in the whole series.
5. Halo 4 ( Nov 6, 2012 )
Halo 4 is the first part of the new trilogy that was named “Reclaimer Trilogy” It was released worldwide in 2012 and gained a lot of popularity and breaking all the previous records by making a profit of $220 million on its first day of release.
II. New features in Halo4
a. Weapons and vehicles
1. Heavy weapons, grenades launcher, and alien’s weapons can be used in
Halo 4 that were not used before in the Halo series. It also included multiplayer armor that took the game to a higher level.
2. New alien vehicles can be ridden.
New Halo 4 allows the player to take over the alien’s vehicle after killing him and the ability to modify it.
b. Challenges and Maps for solo and multiplayer
1. New challenges and continuing the story of Halo 3 for Solo Mode.
Halo 4 is the first Halo to give a storyline as to why the Red and Blue teams of Multiplayer are fighting but still, it is a continual story of Halo 3 in solo mode.
2. New map pack for Multiplayer and Online Modes.
Halo 4 has given ten core multiplayer maps that are mostly based on the campaign levels. Read More
