Moseley Bog is identified to have burnt mounds near the banks of the Coldbath Brook. The burnt mounds of old woodland are developed in a stream valley of a mill pool. The woodland has diverse animals as well as plants species. Apart from this, ‘abundant flowering plants’, ‘wetland vegetation with reeds’ and ‘bog mosses’ are available in this Moseley Bog nature reserve. Moreover, otters, butterflies and red deer are the wildlife present in Moseley Bog. Moseley Bog is one of the oldest reserves, as it is almost 3000-year-old wildlife reserve land. The reserve is also surrounded by human history as well as archaeology that include clay pits, Joy’s Wood, Pond and Victorian and Edwardian Garden. The wildlife reserve has been developed with the concept related to environment and ecosystem aspects from the 20th century.
