The management of the company over the years has changed the way the company operates. From its formation, the company has used mergers and acquisitions to expand its operations. Its partnership with major oil producers in Saudi Arabia has enabled the company to maintain a stable source of raw material for its products. The company has also collaborated with established brands in the market to ensure that market penetration is facilitated. The company history traces the origin of the company in the year 1833. Marcus Samuel who sold antiques and oriental shells expanded his small business into London. As the business expanded, he ventured into fashion and interior design.
