The book is comprised of several accurate and chilling stories of various lethal viruses. The book is based upon the outbreak of a deadly virus named Ebola. The virus was spread from one monkey’s house in the Virginia. The deadly Ebola virus, Marburg virus, Sudan Virus and Ravn Virus are the 4 agents of bio safety level. The story is quite interesting and attractive. Writer has used several short stories about the dieses in Africa and several countries. There are several deadly dieses in the world that can harm a total community through the infection. However, the writer has innovatively provided several examples about the dieses that can create huge awareness in the modern community and society around the globe. Several recommendations, suggestions and advices have been offered in this book in order to overcome and cure the infection from the virus. The humanity of the workers within the house of monkey and the courage of the doctors are very effectual. It is a kind of effective output of an in-depth research. The readers can learn lot of important aspects about the dieses. This story and the book will help the individuals around the globe to understand the deadliness of these kinds of dieses. Part -2 Chapter 1: Something in the forest The first chapter provides in depth attention to the details. The geographical landscape of the region is to prefigure the potential of death and fear. It also shows a rather graphic explanation of the physical condition of Monet. The chapter also shows looks to state that the Mr. Charles Monet is most certainly the first victim of the Ebola, but most definitely not the last. Overall this chapter discusses about the origins of the deadly outbreak by showing How Mr. Monet feeds a monkey, looks to take care of a dying bird and comes face to face with a bat. Chapter 2: Jumper If the first chapter describes about the beginning of the end of Mr. Monet, then chapter discusses about the fact that how quickly the virus Ebola can grow and spread. An atmosphere of fear has been created by showing how he doctors who are often viewed as super human can easily bond the virus (Preston, 11). This chapter successfully carries on the atmosphere of fear and death from the first chapter. Chapter 3: Diagnosis This chapter places less focus on the indications of the illness and looks to concentrate on the features of these deadly viruses. This chapter shows that how people perceive that the immediate threat has been minimized as Dr. Musket starts showing signs of recovery. The chapter shows how Nancy ahs to remove her clothes and put on the scrub suit and a surgical cap before entering level 4; level where Nancy goes trough ultra violet rays. This chapter also introduces Eugene Johnson to the readers. Eugene is introduced through own actions as well as through the opinions of the others. Chapter 6: Total Immersion This chapter puts the focus back to the viruses. This chapter shows that how viruses are parts of RNA or DNA. Also the focus is slowly but surely goes back to Ebola virus; as it is being discussed that the virus is as old as the planet. Also the chapter focuses on the ferocity of the Ebola virus as it is being discussed that how even a small agent can destroy a whole a whole population. It is also discussed how a people having the strongest possible resistance system cannot stop the effect of the Ebola. Chapter 7: Ebola River The attention the readers are shifted to the summers of 76 and looks to follow the progression of the Ebola Zaire and Ebola Sudan. The chapter shows the death of a storekeeper of a cotton factory. Ebola Zaire also reaches the hospital. The epidemic starts growing; blood sample of the nurses was sent round the globe to recognize the illness. The world health organization and other international doctors travel to the infected areas to control the outbreak which does not quite go according to the plan. Chapter 9: Going Deep Eugene is determined to find out the origins of the virus named as Marburg. Eugene orchestrates and even leads an expedition to African continent. Despite of the keen interest or obsession about the viruses, Eugene has kept it mind that those viruses are nothing short of deadly. The fear of death looms at large in this chapter. But also the human interest to find out something new for the sake of the interest of the larger picture can also be seen. The details of the chapter get Jack and Nancy back in the story line. Chapter 10: Reston This chapter is the starting of the rising of the story. This chapter focuses on the planned design of the community of Reston to avoid disasters. However, it also shows that how the recently captured monkeys. Also a sense of Chaos can be found in this chapter as Nancy gets to know about the fact that her brother has been murdered and begins to lose sleep in the obsession to catch the killer. Chapter 11: Into Level 3 By showing the careless dressing of Jhrling and the actions of Dallgard the chapter looks to focus on how the some of the people are not so concerned about the deadly virus that can kill people very easily; a virus that is killing monkeys in Reston. A sense of suspense is being built through this chapter. Chapter 12: Exposure This chapter looks to show how Jahling and Geisbert are exposed to the deadly virus. Also the while incident is portrayed in a very subtle fashion. The irony of this chapter is the fact that the readers are know that both the characters mentioned have been exposed to viruses and yet the characters do not know. Chapter 13: Thanksgiving This chapter looks to focus on the various things that have gone wrong. This chapter looks to create a feel that these people are almost real. It shows a combination of personal tragedies along with the probable outbreak of the virus. Chapter 14: Medusa Geisbert gets back to work and takes the diamond knife to cut the specimen. It this chapter gets the introduced to the puke factor. Geisbert thought that Peter and he himself have been careless in the use of the virus. Geisbert still is trying to understand whether he himself is ill or not. Chapter 15: The First Angel The identification of the infection of the deadly viruses leaves some threatening implications. All three have been identified as having deadly potential to destroy human population. It is an extremely serious course of concern as a lot of people have been exposed. The chapter does not look to make decisions about the actions or the decisions of the subjects; rather the readers are the one that are left to decide to make the willpowers of the characters. Chapter 16: The second Angel This chapter temptingly reveals the filovirus virus as the part of the climax of the total story. But still this chapter ensures that the story line moves on. Dalgard has been made to wait for the test results. In the process Dalgard becomes agitated. One the other hand Geisbert goes home to meet the kids. The sense of tension is growing as the readers begin to understand the fact that all these people may be getting infected.
