Advantages And Disadvantages Of Marijuana Usage

Presently, cannabinoids are the most demonized substance, although, throughout the history of mankind, it has been actively used for medicinal purposes to treat UL and cancer. Some sources claim that marijuana was used as a remedy back in 400 AD. Marijuana or cannabis is the official name for the psychoactive psychedelic effects type drug that is extracted from hemp. Currently, it is in demand for second place in the world after alcohol. According to statistics, more than 162 million people use it at least once a year, mostly to release stress in the conditions of cancer or UL. The origin of this word is slang and is formed from two Mexican names: Maria and Juan. In Hindu mythology, the great lover of cannabis effects is God Shiva. It is for this reason that the sadhus (holy ascetics of Hinduism) willingly practice cannabis smoking in order to thus know its divine essence.

Medical Use of Hemp In the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, cannabinoids, along with cocaine, heroin, and opium, could easily be purchased at any of the pharmacies in the United States and was used as an anesthetic, antirheumatic, and antiemetic, including treatment of UL, and depressive disorders, considering advantages and disadvantages of marijuana usage. In the middle of the twentieth century, THC was banned everywhere for its effects, and it was not allowed to be used even for research purposes as part of experiments. Today in 21 countries of the world, CBD oil-based substance smoking is fully or partially legalized. Such states include Holland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Canada, USA, Switzerland, Australia. Even North Korea, known for its "draconian" laws, allows the smoking of cannabis among the country's population.Legalization of Cannabinoids Marijuana is officially banned in some countries, although over the past few years there has been active talk about the need to legalize it, based on the data of experiments that prove the effectiveness of cancer and UL treatment. The opponents argue that smoking this substance is dangerous to health, and as the main argument is the fact that it is a light drug, and therefore necessarily guarantees a further transition to heavier narcotic substances. The Harm and Benefits of CBD Use Until now, no deaths from smoking hemp have been recorded worldwide, based on experiments. This is not surprising since the lethal dose should exceed the usual one-time intake of marijuana by 40,000 times. Moreover, even if a person sets a goal to take pleasure in hemp (active psychotropic substances contained in hemp leaves), he will die not from their effects, but from carbon monoxide poisoning. Marijuana contains over 200 active ingredients. In this case, the main psychoactive active substance is THC. When smoking marijuana, it first gets into the lungs of a person with smoke, and then, due to the blood flow, reaches brain cells receptors, causing mild effects of euphoria. As a result of exposure to THC, the nervous system relaxes, and mood improves. At the same time, colors are perceived more vividly, life seems more attractive, and even sounding music is more pleasant. The Use of Marijuana for Medicinal Purposes: Treatment of UL and Cancer The next active substance after THC containing marijuana is cannabidiol. This substance is actively used in modern medicine in the manufacture of drugs that doctors prescribe for sleep disorders. CBD relieves anxiety, irritability, depression and is part of the medications recommended for muscle spasms and epilepsy, as well as treatment of UL and cancer. Few people know, but the human body is able to independently produce cannabinoids, since these substances play a crucial role in the normal functioning of the brain cells, as experiments show for the people that suffer from the UL.

Marijuana: Pros and Cons However, scientists have long noticed that people who are actively using marijuana have a slightly underestimated ability to absorb new information and may have memory problems. Their ability to learn is reduced; they can hardly remember and recognize faces. True, when you quit smoking, these negative consequences completely disappear on the third day. However, regular use of marijuana for a long time can negatively affect brain cells’ activity and adversely affect intelligence. This is especially noticeable among adolescents in whom, as a result of constant smoking of hemp, the IQ level can drop by several points. As for older people, the use of marijuana can ease the course of many complex and chronic diseases, including helping with Alzheimer's disease. Studies conducted in 2014 clearly demonstrated that THC could inhibit the formation of new amyloid plaques in patients who suffer from this serious illness, including cancer, and UL.Truth and myths about marijuana

Is There Marijuana Addiction?

In this case, the verdict of scientists is unequivocal: any narcotic substance can be addictive, and marijuana, alas, is no exception. However, the addiction process occurs exclusively with regular use of marijuana for several years. Medical studies have shown that only 10% of people who use cannabis daily can become addicted to it. At the same time, the younger the body, the more chances to get addictive. The Effect of Marijuana on the Human Brain Cells However, marijuana is much safer than the well-known opioids, which have structural similarities with morphine and are traditionally used in medicine for chronic pain, quickly causing physical dependence. This is due to the fact that the opioid (opiate) receptors located in the human brain cells quickly wear out, and then, to obtain the desired result, the patient must constantly increase the dose of the substance. In the event that a person makes an attempt to stop using the drug, he is faced with the classic "withdrawal" syndrome. The above problems when smoking marijuana is not observed. In the case of cessation of cannabis consumption, a person most often experiences temporary difficulties with sleep, he usually has a quick change of mood, irritability, and imaginary anxiety appear, specifically if a person suffers from cancer or UL.The Harms and Benefits of Marijuana Use As for the argument that marijuana can be a start for harder drugs, this is in its purest form a persistent stereotype that is not true. As practice shows, in civilized countries where marijuana has been legalized, there is no such problem. On the contrary, the legalization of cannabis significantly reduced the percentage of heroin and cocaine consumed. This is especially noticeable among adolescents or those people that have cancer or UL. And the ban on the use of marijuana in the first place slows down the process of studying it since its medical potential is huge and not fully understood. Already now, CBD can help relieve severe pain from cancer or UL, loss of appetite, and the effects of stress, treat bowel inflammation, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and epilepsy. Cannabinoids help to cure the UL, cancer, and even a severe form of childhood epilepsy, called Drava's Syndrome, which is poorly controlled by modern traditional drugs, unlike marijuana. And the point here is not at all to allow free smoking, growing or selling hemp. We are talking about starting to create various effective forms of drugs on the basis of marijuana and use it for medicinal and health purposes.
