Future career Future career Section one I would like to pursue a career on health psychology. A health psychologist is a person who specializes in how social, biological, environmental, cultural, and psychological factors influence illness and physical health. In order to pursue the career I need to have a degree in health psychology and this include internship. However, such a career requires me to pass two critical units, which are mathematics and health modules, which seem tricky. Despite that challenge, I am determined to put in extra effort to upgrade my mean grade.

I will ensure I attend private tutorials alongside the usual class work. I will major in exercise, safety, and nutrition. Thus, my major objectives are to understand contextual and behavioral factors, preventing illnesses, investigating how the effect of some diseases, and critical analysis of the various health policies. My major role as a health psychologist in nutrition is to educate an individual on the importance of having the various nutrients especially macronutrients and how they help in preventing diseases.

Carbohydrates are the major source of energy in the body. They can be grouped into monosaccharide, polysaccharides, or disaccharides depending on the number of sugar units present. Polysaccharides are often referred to as complex sugars. In an effort to became a health psychologist, I will required to be involved in extracurricular activities such as physical fitness exercises as it is a major contributor to everyone’s health. Exercise has many benefits such as strengthening the heart, circulatory system, and lungs.

Exercise such as yoga, can help in developing inner peace and dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression because strengthening the body creates a calming effect on the mind and soul. Exercise plays an essential role in helping the body burn excess fat. Section 2 I will use a laptop and broadband modem software because it will be very essential in researching important issues regarding health psychology. Laptop offer additional connection through the internet. The broadband modem software will enable me connect to the internet.

This connection can also allow me to interact with people studying the same subject. Therefore, such international connection can easily help me access materials through a university and medical libraries servers. The laptop will give me the opportunity to learn computer programming. Programming in computer languages gives me the opportunity to learn concrete computer models. Such models are handy in developing their thinking and learning capability which might assist me in developing my career.

These can greatly influence me to become a great psychologist. Consequently, such programming skills can offer me opportunities to invent new technologies related health psychology. I will use my laptop to monitor progress in critically sick patients. It can observe, calculate, record and display pulses in the human body. It is programmed to carry out either a positive feedback or a negative feedback in relation to the patient utilizing the facility. Additionally, I can use my laptop to program automated wheelchairs and artificial limbs that people with disabilities and mal-nutrition use.
